The aim of the study was to analyze the nutrients of Baijiu distiller’s grains from14 distilleries in Maotai Town,Zunyi City,Guizhou Province,to find out the nutritional variation of Baijiu distiller’s grains. And i fermentation techniques in vitro were applied to evaluate the fermentation potential of distiller’s grains in the rumen;Distiller’s grains were fermented with edible fungi and lignocelluloses degradation effect of edible fungi would be explored,in order to establish the foundation for the efficient utilization of Baijiu distiller’s grains.Trial 1 Aim to evaluation of the nutritional value of Baijiu distiller’s grains in Maotai Town,14 Baijiu distiller’s grains were sampled and the nutrients content were determined, fermentation parameters p H,ammonia nitrogen and microbial protein,DM,CP,NDF,ADF and OM degradation rates were measured by in vitro rumen fermentation techniques. The results showed that:1)Nutrients content of Baijiu distiller’s grains varied significantly(P<0.05),OM,GE,CP,EE,NFE,ASH,NDF,ADF,ADL,Ca and P(dry matter basis)ranged from 87.10%to 94.40%,19.75 KJ/g to 21.48 KJ/g,21.66%to 29.23%,5.62%to 10.50%,5.38%to 30.35%,Ash 5.60%to 12.89%,32.23%to 46.70%,20.37%to 34.83%,7.59%to 15.73%,0.15%to 0.54%and 0.45%to 0.63%,respectively.2)The 72 h cumulative gas production(Gp)of 14th sample was highest(37.73 m L),and GP of 4 th were lower than other sample(P<0.05);DOM and ME of 13th sample were highest(5 31.5 g/kg and 5.85 MJ/kg);(3)The theoretical maximum gas production b of 7 th sample was highest with 40.97 m L,which was not significantly higher than 1st,2nd,6 th,8 th,9 th,11 th,13 rd and 14 thsample(P<0.05);(4)The degradation rates of DM,OM,CP,NDF and ADF differed significantly among distilleries at different time points(P<0.05).significantly different from those of number 1,2,6,8,9,11,13 and 14(P>0.05);4)The fermentation productions and degradation rates of DM,OM,CP,NDF and ADF of distiller grains increased with fermentation time(P<0.05).The degradation rates of DM,OM,CP,NDF and ADF ranged from 60.24%to 74.60%,60.46%to 75.49%,61.37%to73.64%,36.29%to 52.78%,and 27.24%to 47.85%,respectively.Moreover,the degradation rate of DM,CP,and OM of 14th sample were 74.60%,73.64%,and 75.49%respectively,higher than others, however,NDF and ADF degradation rates of 1st had highest value(52.78%and 47.85%).Trial 2 Study of impact of edible basidiomycete treatment distiller’s grains.Distiller’s grain fermented with Volvariella volvacea,Lentinus edodes and Auricularia auricula, respectively, for 15,20,25 and 30 days. The CP,NDF,ADF and ADL contents of the fermented samples were measured, and in vitro gas production and in vitro nylon bag method were used for exploring the breakdown lignocellulose effect of the three edible fungi. The results showed that:1)CP content of distiller’s grains were improved with edible fungus fermentation significantly(P<0.05).Data also indicated NDF,ADF and ADL of distiller’s grains were breakdown by fermentation with the fungus,NDF and ADL degradation effect of Volvariella volvacea were better than Lentinus edodes or Auricularia auricula, nevertheless,ADF breakdown rate of Lentinus edodes and Auricularia auricula were higher than Volvariella volvacea.2)Fermentation in rumen of distiller’s grains influenced by treatments with fungus,DOM and ME were attenuated, and NH3-N and MCP were inhabited, especially, rate degradation,a,b,c and ED of DM,OM,NDF and ADF of distiller’s grains were decreased with Volvariella volvacea fermentation(P<0.05).In conclusion,(1)The nutrients contents of the distiller’s grains significant differences.(2)gas production in vitro and degradation rates of DM,CP,NDF and ADF There were also significant differences among distiller’s grains.(3)edible basidiomycete showed degradation effect on distiller’s grains lignocellulose, and Volvariella volvacea showed the better fermentation effect on distiller’s grains.(4)There was no significant change in rumen fermentation potential treated with Auricularia auricula, but Volvariella volvacea treatment inhibited fermentation potential in rumen.
