| China has always been a major country in coal production and consumption in the world,and the coal industry plays an extremely important role in the improvement of people’s living standards and economic development in China.As a private enterprise,with the support of the state and local government,Yi Tai Coal has grown into the largest local coal enterprise in Inner Mongolia through its own continuous efforts.However,in recent years,Yi Tai Coal faces a series of serious challenges with the country’s vigorous adjustment of the coal industry.Therefore,this paper will use the mature Harvard analysis framework in the industry to study Yi Tai Coal,aiming to provide reference for the company’s future development direction.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)From the strategic dimension,PEST analysis and SWOT analysis are adopted to control the industry and company situation of Yi Tai Coal as a whole;(2)From the accounting dimension,through the analysis of the accounting policies and key accounting items of Yi Tai Coal,judge whether the existing accounting policies of Yi Tai Coal are reasonable,and lay the foundation for the subsequent financial analysis;(3)From the financial dimension,it analyzes the cash flow situation,debt repayment,operation,profitability and development ability of Yi Tai Coal,and uses the factor analysis method to make an empirical analysis of the financial situation from the comparison of Yi Tai Coal itself and the industry;(4)Based on the above three dimensions of analysis,from the perspective dimension,the development prospect of the industry and how the company should respond are analyzed by combining qualitative and quantitative methods,and PE and PB indexes are used to evaluate the basic value of Yi Tai Coal,and Z-value scoring model is introduced to evaluate the current financial situation of the company and predict the possibility of financial crisis in the future.The analysis found that although Yi Tai coal is currently the largest local coal enterprise in Inner Mongolia,its position in the national coal industry is not prominent,it still faces the following problems that need to be solved urgently: the transformation and upgrading of the industry has made Yi Tai coal face severe pressure;the current market share is small,and the competitive pressure is huge;more idle funds increase the opportunity cost of the company;Business model is relatively single,emerging coal and chemical business profitability is poor,lack of sudden risk response capacity,poor financial situation.According to this,the paper puts forward some feasible suggestions as follows: to respond to the national policy positively,to do well the transformation and upgrading;to strengthen the foundation of the main coal industry,to be in the forefront of the coal industry;to optimize the capital structure,to make full use of idle funds;We will strengthen diversified operations,focus on our own profitability and debt-paying ability,strengthen high-quality coal reserves,and improve our ability to respond to unexpected risks,etc.It is hoped that through the research and analysis of this article,it will provide appropriate reference value for how to adjust the future development direction of Yi Tai Coal. |
