Based on the chloroprene rubber(CR),the vulcanization mechanism and vulcanization characteristics of chloroprene rubber metal complex vulcanization system were studied,and the effects of crosslinking network types on the properties of chloroprene rubber under different mechanical behaviors were further investigated.For CR/EPDM blends,the quantitative relationship between the two-phase properties and the properties of the blends was investigated in different crosslinking network states and thermal oxygen aging processes.In addition,three kinds of fillers with different dimensions were selected to fill chloroprene rubber,and the effects of filler types on the properties of chloroprene rubber under different mechanical behaviors were investigated.Firstly,the vulcanization mechanism and vulcanization characteristics of the new Fe(acac)3 system based on Heck reaction were explored.The microstructure of chloroprene rubber crosslinking network was regulated by Fe(acac)3 system and metal oxide system,and two crosslinking network structures of C-C and C-O-C were constructed respectively.The properties of chloroprene rubber with two different cross-linked network structures under different mechanical behaviors and the properties of chloroprene rubber with two different cross-linked network structures under different mechanical behaviors during thermo-oxidative aging were investigated.The results showed that compared with the traditional metal oxide system,the chloroprene rubber cured by Fe(acac)3 system has the advantages of high efficiency,high degree of vulcanization,low amount of vulcanization system,good relaxation performance after thermo-oxidative aging and low temperature sensitivity.Secondly,based on the state equation of crosslinked rubber,the mathematical models of two-phase crosslinking density-two-phase storage modulus-blend rubber performance under different crosslinking network states and two-phase crosslinking density-two-phase performance-blend rubber performance during thermal oxygen aging process were established respectively,and the accuracy and reliability of the models were verified.The results showed that there was a quantitative relationship between the two-phase crosslinking density,the two-phase properties and the properties of CR/EPDM blends.The single-phase properties could be adjusted to achieve precise control of the overall properties of the blends.Finally,three different dimensions of fillers(MWCNT,multilayer graphite,carbon black)were used to fill chloroprene rubber,and the effect of filler type on the properties of chloroprene rubber under different mechanical behaviors was investigated.The results showed that the filler network formed by filling chloroprene rubber with different dimensions of fillers had different characteristics.MWCNT filled CR had the advantages of good reinforcement effect on vulcanizate under small strain and large tensile stress relaxation equilibrium value under 100%strain.CB filled CR has the best reinforcement effect of vulcanizate under large strain,the large tensile stress relaxation equilibrium value under large strain and the best compressive stress relaxation performance under different strains.CR filled with multilayer graphite exhibits the largest elongation at break at tensile strength close to other dimensional fillers.
