The Application Of Folk Quilting Art In Modern Household Textiles

China’s folk patchwork art has a long history,bearing the living customs and customs of various ethnic groups,and is full of people’s love and expectation for a better life.It moves and attracts people with its unique charm and pure emotions contained therein.With the development and prosperity of modern household textiles,consumers not only pay attention to the aesthetic sense of the visual level and the physical sense of the craftsmanship texture,but also attach importance to the resonance with the spiritual level.The unique folk feelings and traditional regional aesthetics of folk patchwork art provide a broader path for the design of modern household textiles.This study is an application oriented study that focuses on folk patchwork art.It mainly focuses on the vertical analysis and horizontal comparison of Hunan Dabujiang patchwork embroidery and Yanchuan patchwork painting in northern Shaanxi,grasping their most typical characteristics,and applying them to modern household textile design.The first chapter,Introduction,briefly describes the background,purpose,significance,research status,research content and methods of this study;The second chapter explores the historical origin of folk patchwork art through an overview of it,understanding its various forms and techniques,and providing a theoretical basis for subsequent innovative research;The third chapter mainly analyzes the design language in folk patchwork art,and selects Dabujiang patchwork embroidery and Yanchuan patchwork painting from the south to the north as the specific research objects.From the three aspects of pattern,process,and color,it summarizes the southern calm and elegance of Dabujiang patchwork embroidery and the lively and heroic characteristics of Yanchuan patchwork painting.The fourth chapter is the innovative application design scheme of Dabujiang patchwork embroidery,which forms a new organizational structure through the analysis,breaking up,and reconstruction of individual elements,highlighting its unique charm in technology.Starting with the "embroidery" method,the design is presented in a single thread flat coating manner and applied to modern style home textiles;In the innovative application design of Yanchuan cloth pile painting,the fifth chapter uses its refined and accurate modeling method and "flower in flower" composite decoration technique as the starting point,using different dynamic cats as the creative elements,highlighting the interest and decoration,and finally applying it to children’s home textiles;Chapter 6 discusses the conclusions of the study in four points.
