In order to accurately measure the energy of natural gas,each metering station in the pipeline network needs to determine the volume calorific value of the natural gas input or output from the station at different times,which can be calculated according to the mole fraction of each component in the natural gas.The natural gas output from some delivery points(pipeline terminal or distribution station)in a multi-source natural gas pipeline network is a mixture of various natural gas,and the mole fraction of each component may vary with time.The direct determination of these mole fractions requires the configuration of corresponding measuring devices,thereby increasing the investment and operating costs of the pipeline network.In view of the fact that the molar fraction of each component of the natural gas output at the delivery point depends on the change law of the flow state of the pipeline network with time,this paper takes a ring pipeline network in southwest my country as an example to carry out a feasible method for determining the calorific value of natural gas through the operation simulation of the pipeline network.sex research.Using the natural gas pipeline network simulation software SPS,which is widely used in the oil and gas pipeline industry,a dynamic simulation model that can track natural gas components and calculate calorific value is established for the pipeline network.The natural gas composition data of each gas source is set in the model,and the composition data of the natural gas output from each delivery point and the variation law of the calorific value with time can be determined through simulation.In order to improve the accuracy of the simulation results,the key parameters such as the gas transmission efficiency of the pipeline section included in the simulation model were calibrated based on the historical operation data,and the calibration model was used to carry out dynamic simulation of the pipeline network,and the obtained simulation results could meet the measurement requirements.
