| Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for diabetic foot ulcersMethods:A systematic retrieval of PubMed,Embase,Cochrane databases and China National Knowledge Network,Wanfang Database and VIP Information Databasewas conducted to screen the randomized controlled trials that explored hyperbaric oxygen therapy for diabetic foot reported from the establishment of the database to November 2020.After two researchers selected and extracted literature data and literature treatment evaluation,STATA16.0 software was used to perform a Meta-analysis on the Effective rate(ER),rate of amputation(AR),rate of complete healing(CUH),healing time(HT),and Peak blood flow in lower limb arteries as outcome indicators of experimental diabetic foot. Two researchers screened the literature, extracted the data and evaluated the quality of the literature for analysis. Results:In the end,20 studies were included, all of which were randomized controlled trials, including the experimental group(n=755)and the control group(n=740).Results of Meta-analysis:The effective rate of experimental group and control group[RR=1.28,95%CI(1.19,1.38),P<0.05];Complete healing time[RR=1.67,95%CI(1.22,2.28),P<0.05];Amputation rate[RR=0.49,95%CI(0.27,0.90),P<0.05];Healing time[MD=-27.20,95%CI(-52.67,-1.73),P<0.05];The blood flow velocity of the femoral artery[MD=0.07,95%CI(0.03,0.10),P<0.05],the blood flow velocity of the popliteal artery[MD=0.09,95%CI(0.03,0.16),P<0.05],the blood flow velocity of the dorsal foot artery[MD=0.06,95%CI(0.06,0.09),P<0.05).Adverse reactions:In the test group, there were 20 cases of adverse reactions, including barostatic otitis media, inability to balance middle ear pressure, vertigo, hypoglycemia, claustrophobia, etc. There were 7 adverse reactions in the control group. Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen adjuvant therapy can improve arterial blood flow of lower limbs, promote wound healing, reduce healing time, and reduce amputation rate of diabetic foot.Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has some adverse reactions, but the damage is relatively minor. It is a relatively safe and effective treatment. |
