Compared with 10 years ago,the detection rate of adolescent depression has increased by 0.4%,which has attracted the attention of experts and scholars from all walks of life.During the period of "two sessions" this year,many deputies of the National People’s Congress spoke out for students’ mental health problems,calling on society,schools,and families to pay attention to the prevention and treatment of students’depression symptoms.Depressive symptoms can have an impact on adolescents’ physical,emotional,and interpersonal relationships,especially are harmful not conducive to individual mental health development.Family plays an irreplaceable role in the growth of adolescents.The main parenting style of parents not only affects the depressive symptoms of adolescents,but children’s recognition of filial piety.Therefore,this research is based on the localized concept of "filial piety beliefs" to understand the overall depressive symptoms of adolescents,the main parenting styles of adolescents,and the adolescents’ recognition of filial piety beliefs,and further explore the relationship between adolescents’ parental parenting styles,filial piety beliefs and depressive symptoms.A total of 848 adolescents,including junior high school students,high school students,and college students,were selected as the research objects.The questionnaires were used to collect data on parental rearing styles,filial piety beliefs,and depression symptoms,and SPSS23.0 was used for difference testing,correlation analysis,regression analysis,and mediation analysis.It established an intermediary model,and found that:1.The parenting method of adolescents is mainly based on father’s care and mother’s over-protection;college students’parental care is significantly higher than that of middle school students;teenagers who do not live with grandparents,mothers’over-protection is significantly higher than that of co-living teenagers;Compared with single families and remarried families,parental families brings more concern.2.The detection rate of depressive symptoms in adolescents is 24.5%,and the depressive symptoms in middle school show a trend of increasing with grade;single-parent and remarried families have significantly higher depressive symptoms in adolescents than in parental families;the higher education level of parents,The fewer symptoms of depression in adolescents.3.Adolescents generally agree with filial piety beliefs;boys agree more with filial piety beliefs than girls;compared with urban teenagers,rural youths agree more with filial piety beliefs;college students agree more with filial piety beliefs significantly higher than middle school students;high school students agree more with reciprocal filial piety,and junior high school students more agree with authoritative filial piety.4.The parenting style of adolescents has a predictive effect on filial piety beliefs and depression symptoms:parental care is significantly negatively correlated with depressive symptoms,and positively correlated with filial piety beliefs;parental over-protection is significantly positively correlated with depressive symptoms,and significantly correlated with filial piety beliefs negative correlation;belief in filial piety plays a part of the mediating role between parenting style and depression symptoms.
