Objective:1.To investigate the current status of appetite in maintenance hemodialysis patients and analyze the influencing factors,so as to provide reference for dietary intervention in maintenance hemodialysis patients.2.To investigate the effect of anorexia on hypoalbuminemia in maintenance hemodialysis patientsMethods:The convenience sampling method was used to investigate the maintenance hemodialysis patients in the blood purification center of 3 hospitals in Nanning City by using the general demographic data, appetite assessment scale and life quality assessment questionnaire.First of all, based on the survey data, the status of anorexia in maintenance hemodialysis patients was obtained, and the correlation between appetite status and quality of life was analyzed.Secondly, the ACS evaluation scale score was used as the dependent variable to analyze the factors affecting the appetite of patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Finally,a binary logistics regression model was constructed with hypoalbuminemia as the dependent variable.Results:1.According to the criteria of appetite assessment questionnaire,in adult maintenance hemodialysis patients,ACS,VAS and SNAQ showed that 48.6%,48.9% and 34.2% of patients had anorexia, respectively. In the elderly patients with maintenance hemodialysis, the percentages of anorexia showed by SNAQ,ACS and VAS were 43.8%,58.4% and 56.9%,respectively.2.According to Pearson correlation analysis, the correlation coefficients of ACS,FAACT and other dimensions ranged from 0.216 to 0.811.The correlation coefficient between VAS and KDQOL-36 ranged from 0.113 to 0.574.3.Univariate analysis showed that gender, age, dialysis frequency, education level, employment, family per capita monthly income, infection, serum phosphorus, serum potassium, serum calcium,i PTH and hypoalbuminemia had influences on appetite of MHD patients, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that physical status, albumin level, infection or not, emotional status, serum potassium, serum calcium, gender, functional status,IPTH and age were significant influencing factors for anorexia in MHD patients(P<0.05),which accounted for 48.2% variation of anorexia in MHD patients.5.According to binary logistic regression analysis, the results showed that anorexia was an independent influencing factor for the occurrence of hypoalbuminemia(P < 0.05),and the OR of anorexia in Model 1 and Model 2were 4.235 and 3.289,respectivelyConclusion:1.Patients with maintenance hemodialysis had poor appetite, which was closely related to their quality of life.2.Factors that may affect appetite status in patients with maintenance hemodialysis include inflammation, hyperkalemia, mineral and bone metabolism abnormalities, gender, age, dialysis adequacy, and economic factors.3.Anorexia is an independent risk factor for hypoalbuminemia in MHD patients...
