Research On The Seasonal Characteristics Of LiuQi And Its Medication Rules

The theory of the Five Movements and Six Qi is based on the theory of the Five Elements of Yin and Yang,with the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches as the deduction tools,featuring the changes of the four seasons of the Year of the Azi,and is a classical theory of Chinese medicine that is used to deduce the laws of climate changes and their effects on human health and diseases under the guidance of the holistic view of Chinese medicine,the view of the correspondence between Heaven and man,and the view of movement.The theory of "Five Movements and Six Qi" includes two major parts:"Five Movements" and "Six Qi",and the part of "Five Movements" has been studied by other members of the group in the previous research and has achieved certain results.In this study,the "Six Qi" were selected as the object of study because ancient people believe that human beings are connected with the Qi of heaven and earth,and the loss of Qi will lead to diseases,and doctors need to diagnose and treat them,in order to use the Six Qi to guide the clinical use of medicine.In this study,the manifestations and treatments of the Six Qi in the Yunqi Qipian Dalun in the Inner Canon of Huangdi,which are related to the administration of the celestial manager qi,qi in the earth,host climate qi and guest climate qi,were taken as the main objects of study.Combined with the performance of celestial beings under different Six Qi conditions in Inner Canon of Huangdi,the comparison summarizes the characteristics and laws of medicine for these seasonal changes.Due to the complexity of temporal and spatial factors,the principles of medicinal properties and the laws of compounding based on the theory of Five Movements and Six Qi cannot be fully understood by clinicians and need to be reorganized in order to enhance the application value of the theory of Five Movements and Six Qi in guiding the clinical use of medicine and prescription selection.Based on this theory,later generations of medical practitioners have played a lot of movements prescriptions,and analyzed the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature(Jingshun Decotion,Shenping Decotion,Shengming Decotion,Beihua Decotion,Zhengyang Decotion and Fuhe Decotion)in the representative "Treatise on three categories of pathogenic factors" to summarize the seasonal changes of these prescriptions and explore the application of the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature.The main research contents are as follows.(1)To clarify the concept of the Six Qi in the seven chapters of the Inner Canon of Huangdi,including the "host climate qi ","guest climate qi","celestial manager qi"and "qi in the earth".To clarify the core concepts of the six Qi in the seven chapters of movements in the Inner Canon of Huangdi.Through the connection of these core basic concepts in the context of Inner Canon of Huangdi-Plain Question and the commentaries of later medical scholars,we clarify their basic concepts,basic characteristics and operation laws.(2)To compile and compare the contents of the Plain Question-Wu Chang Zheng Da Lun,Suwen,Plain Question-Liu Yuan Zheng Ji Da Lun and Plain Question-Zhi Zhen Yao Da Lun regarding the seasonal characteristics and manifestations of the host climate qi,celestial manager qi and qi in the earth,to analyze the manifestations of the people’s diseases compiled,and to explore the influence of movements conditions on human diseases.(3)To analyze and summarize the Six Qi rules of treatment in Plain Question-Zhi Zhen Yao Da Lun,mainly including the rule of the host climate Qi,celestial manager qi and qi in the earth,to analyze and summarize the Six Qi rules of treatment based on the content of Plain Question-Zang Qi Fa Shi Lun and the basic theories of Chinese medicine,including the content of the "Five Organs Bitter Desire to Replenish and Drain".(4)To analyze the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature in the widely circulated "Treatise on three categories of pathogenic factors".The academic background of the Six Qi prescriptions was clarified,and the Six Qi prescriptions were traced and analyzed,followed by the analysis of the six Qi prescriptions in terms of the main symptoms treated,treatment rules,drug properties,and the Six Qi seasonal drug additions and reductions,and the exploration of the Six Qi drug use rules.Through the above study,the following conclusions were obtained.(1)Through the analysis of the seasonal characteristics and disease manifestations of the host climate qi,it was found that the climate change induced by the host climate qi is different,thus generating different nature of pathogenic factors,and the internal organs of the human body are adapted to different seasons,so the different seasons of the host climate qi will cause different parts of the organism to have disease evidence similar to the nature of the host climate qi.The host climate qi is predominant,the onset is mostly at the main time corresponding to the six qi,mostly with the actual evidence of the internal organs corresponding to the host climate qi,and the deficiency evidence of the internal organs grasped by the properties of the five elements.The onset of the host climate qi is similar to that of the main qi,with the deficiency evidence of the internal organs corresponding to the host climate qi predominating.(2)Through the analysis of the host climate qi treatment rules,it is found that the host climate qi treatment rules are based on the treatment methods formulated according to the six Qi of wind,hot,fire,moisture,dryness and cold,which cause human morbidity,mainly based on the principle of tonic for those who follow their Qi and diarrhea for those who go against their Qi."Therefore,it uses the characteristics of the five tastes of drugs to adjust the tonicity and diarrhea of the Qi of the internal organs.(3)Analysis of the lesion sites and disease manifestations in the year of celestial manager qi and qi in the earth,it is believed that when located in the position of celestial manager qi,the lesion sites are mostly concentrated in the upper and middle jiao and head and face;when it is located in the position of qi in the earth,the lesion sites are mostly concentrated in the lower jiao,waist and legs.It can be concluded that the lesion sites are mainly affected by the movement trend of Qi;its reveals that the manifestations of the disease basically follow these three principles(1)the organ to which the celestial manager qi and qi in the earth is connected suffers from disease.(2)The organ is multiplied by the organ that it is victorious over,and the organ that it is not victorious over is insulted.(3)The mother or child of the organ is diseased.(4)Through the analysis of the treatment of the celestial manager qi and qi in the earth.it is found that the nature of the disease caused by the celestial manager qi and qi in the earth is different from wind,heat,fire,moisture,dryness and cold.The treatment follows the basic rule of "suppressing its movements,supporting its incompetence,and adjusting its proper taste from the proposed","supporting with what is beneficial,and with what is appropriate",and is basically the same in the treatment method.(5)Through the analysis of the development of the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature,we found that there are 12 ancient medical books containing the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature.Among them," The Three Causes of Extreme One Disease Evidence Formula"is the first published work,and its content has been omitted and supplemented by later works;in terms of its drug composition,there are similarities;there are differences in the record of drug dosage;therefore,"The Three Causes of Extreme One Disease Evidence Formula" is the first published work of the six qi times of the people’s disease evidence and treatment formula,and it is not possible to use the later " Three Causes of Sitian Formula" to refer to its first published work;the original meaning of the original formula of "The Three Causes of Extreme One Disease Evidence Formula" is not advocated to be simply replaced by later books.(6)Through the analysis of the six main prescriptions about disease in the six factors in nature,it was found that the names of the six formulas were derived from the explanation of Ping Qi in Plain Question-Wu Chang Zheng Da Lun,the main symptoms were derived from Plain Question-Liu Yuan Zheng Ji Da Lun,the characteristic manifestations of different celestial mananger qi in the earth,host climatic qi and guest climatic qi,and the treatment rules were determined,and the prescriptions were derived from Shennong Bencao Jing and Zheng Lei Ben Cao,and the rationale of the prescriptions was based on the principle of the Five Flavors of Sheng Fu in Inner Canon of Huangdi.The rationale for the prescriptions was based on the principle of the Five Flavors of the Inner Canon of Huangdi.In summary,this study concluded that the principle of the Six Qi theory of tonicity and diarrhea of the five organs using the five flavors of Shengfu has some significance in the clinical use of medicine guided by the theory of the five Movements and Six Qi.This study focuses on the clinical use of the Six Qi theory in the clinical guidance of medicine,hoping to provide a little inspiration and reference significance in the clinical and follow-up studies.
