| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of herb-partitioned moxibustion on the navel combined with "Wubaisan" gel ointment application and simple "Wubaisan" gel ointment application in the treatment of chloasma.To compare the improved situation of two methods on chloasma skin lesions,quality of life and to provide clinical basis for the treatment of chloasma with herb-partitioned moxibustion on the navel combined with "Wubaisan" gel ointment.Methods:Sixty cases of chloasma patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,thirty cases in each group.The treatment group was given herb-partitioned moxibustion on the navel combined with "Wubaisan" gel ointment,and the control group was given "Wubaisan" gel ointment.To observe the melasma area and severity index scores and quality of life scores before treatment and after each course of treatment.Result:After treatment,the melasma area and severity index scores in both groups were decreased,the skin lesions were improved(P<0.01)and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01).The quality of life scores in both groups were also decreased,the life quality of the patients was also improved(P<0.01)and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Compared with the simple "Wubaisan" gel ointment,the effect of herb-partitioned moxibustion on the navel combined with "Wubaisan" gel ointment is more significant.Conclusions:Herb-partitioned moxibustion on the navel combined with "Wubaisan" gel ointment has more significant curative effect in improving chloasma skin lesions and quality of life,with low recurrence rate,which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
