Clinical Study Of Daochiqingying Decoction Combined With Chinese Medicine Bath In The Treatment Of Blood Heat Syndrome Of Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Daochiqingying Decoction combined with Chinese medicinal bath in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.And to explore the efficacy and safety of Daochiqingying Decoction combined with Chinese medicinal bath in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris with blood-heat syndrome.Methods:Sixty patients with psoriasis vulgaris of blood-heat syndrome who accorded with the inclusion criteria in this study were selected and randomized into a treatment group(n=30)and a control group(n=30),with blood-heat syndrome,with Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI)score,TCM syndrome score of blood-heat syndrome and the Dermatology Quality of Life Index(DLQI)as observation indicators.Patients in the treatment group were administrated Daochiqingying Decoction in combination with bathing Psoriasis Medicated Bath No.1 Recipe.Patients in the control group were administrated Xiaoyin Granules in combination with bathing Psoriasis Medicated Bath No.1Recipe,and those in the two groups were treated with the mixture of White Vaseline and Longzhu Ointment twice a day.At the node of pre-treatment,4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment,the PASI score,TCM syndrome score of blood-heat syndrome and DLQI were recorded.The collected data were statistically processed and analyzed by SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:After 8 weeks of treatment,There were no significant differences in the PASI score of skin lesions,the TCM syndrome score of blood-heat syndrome,and DLQI among the two groups(P<0.05).The overall response rate of the treatment group and the control group were 96.7% and 76.7%,respectively,and there was no significant difference(P<0.05).It indicated that the efficacy of treatment group was better than that of control group.Conclusion:Daochiqingying Decoction combined with Chinese medicine bath is effective to treat psoriasis vulgaris patients with blood-heat syndrome.It can significantly relief the condition of the skin lesions,improve symptoms related to blood-heat syndrome,and improve the quality of life of patients,and can be promoted and used in the treatment of this disease.
