Clnical Observation Of Xiaobi Decoction Combined With Ozone Water Bath In Treating Psoriasis Vulgaris

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of XiaoBi Decoction combined with ozone water bath in treating psoriasis vulgaris with Wind Heat and Blood Heat Syndrome.METHORDS: 108 patients cases of psoriasis vulgaris with Wind Heat and Blood Heat Syndrome meeting the inclusion criteria were selected.By random number table method,they were divided into three groups,36 cases in each group,named treatment group 1,treatment group 2 and control group.Patients of treatment group 1 were treated with XiaoBi decoction and Tacrolimus Ointment,these of treatment group 2 were treated with XiaoBi decoction and Tacrolimus Ointment and ozone water bath therapy,while these of the control group were treated with Xiaoyin Capsule and Tacrolimus Ointment.The treatment periods were all 4 weeks.Patient’s basic conditions,including name,gender,age,duration of disease,treatment history,family history,skin lesions and TCM syndromes were recorded.The patients’ results of PASI score,TCM syndrome score,serum ASO and serum IL₂2 were compared and then statistically analyzed.RESULTS:1.At 2 weeks of treatment,the PASI scores of the three groups were lower than those of before treatment.After Wilcoxon test,there were significant differences with P<0.05.There was no significant difference in the comparison between the control group and the treatment group 1 with P>0.05（P=0.068）.There was significantly different in the comparison between the treatment group 1 and the treatment group 2 with P< 0.05（P=0.03）.There was significantly different in the comparison between the treatment group 2 and the control group with P < 0.05（P < 0.001）.It can be concluded that in the PASI score,the treatment group 1 and the control group are equivalent,and the treatment group 2 has an advantage over the treatment group 1 and the control group,so the ozone water bath has a positive effect on the PASI improvement of psoriasis.2.At 4 weeks of treatment,PASIs of the 3 groups,there was significantly different in the comparison between the treatment group 1 and the control group with P < 0.05（P=0.045）.There was significantly different in the comparison between the treatment group 1 and the treatment group 2 with P< 0.05（P=0.001）.There was significantly different in the comparison between the treatment group 2 and the control group with P< 0.05（P< 0.001）.3.At 4 weeks of treatment,the PASI scores of the three groups patients were significantly different from the beginning（P<0.05）.The effective rate of treatment group 1 was 87.88%,of treatment group 2 was 94.12%,meanwhile of control group was 78.79%.Between treatment group 2 and control group,P<0.05 was with statistical significant difference,and the efficacy treatment of group 2 was significantly higher than that of the control group.CONCLUSIONS:1.XiaoBi decoction combined with ozone bath therapy was better in the improvement of wind heat and blood heat syndrome PASI score,TCM syndrome score,serum ASO level,serum IL₂2 level in patients with psoriasis vulgaris compared with the control group.2.XiaoBi decoction combined with ozone bath therapy is an effective method for treating psoriasis vulgaris with wind heat and blood heat syndrome.
