Clinical Observation Of Three Fixation Methods In The Treatment Of Type A₃ Distal Radius Fracture In The Elderly

Objective:With the progress of aging and resocialization of elderly retired population,the incidence of distal radius fracture increased year after year.There are a variety of clinical methods for the treatment of distal radius fracture,each with advantages and disadvantages.Through the analysis of splint,Kirschner wire and plate three ways,to explore the clinical curative effect of three ways on senile type A₃ distal radius fracture.Methods:90 elderly patients with type A₃ distal radius fracture were selected from the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2020 to June2021.They were randomly divided into splint,Kirschner wire and plate treatment.The palm inclination,radial styloid height,ulnar deviation angle and Gartland-Werley score were statistically analyzed.Results:There was no significant difference in gender,age,affected side and initial imaging data among the three groups.Three treatment methods can achieve satisfactory imaging results.There was no significant difference in the three treatment methods of radial height and ulnar deviation angle in the immediate postoperative imaging comparison.In the comparison of palm inclination angle,the steel plate group was superior to the Kirschner wire group and the splint group,and there was no statistical difference between the steel needle group and the splint group.Six weeks after the operation,there was no statistical difference in the ulnar deviation angle among the three groups.Compared with the palm inclination angle,the steel plate group was better than the Kirschner wire group and better than the splint group.The effect of Kirschner wire group and plate group on radial height was similar,which was better than that of splint group.At 6 weeks after operation,reduction loss occurred in palmar tilt,ulnar deviation and radial height in splint group and Kirschner wire group.There was no statistic difference in steel plate group.Three months after operation,there was no significant difference in Gartland-Werley score among the three groups,and wrist function recovered well.
