Effect Of Jiawei Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion On Early Recovery Of Type C Humerus Intercondylar Fracture After Operation

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of modified Jiawei Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion combined with active functional exercise in the recovery of elbow joint function after double plate internal fixation for adult type C humeral intercondylar fracture,to provide the clinical basis for the treatment of elbow joint postoperative dysfunction.Methods: A total of 50 cases of type C humeral intercondylar fracture were selected from the orthopaedic ward of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese medicine from September to December2019,the patients were randomly divided into two groups: the Observation Group(25 cases)and the Control Group(25 cases).Treatment Plan:All patients were given detumescence and pain relief treatment before admission.The operation was performed within 6 days after admission.The operative method was“ULNA Olecranon osteotomy approach with double plate internal fixation”,after sensory recovery of the affected limb,early functional exercise of Elbow joint was performed.2 weeks after surgery incision I/A healing,Observation Group:Continue to elbow function exercise,began with “ Jiawei Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion”side fumigation exercise.Control Group: Continue Elbow function exercise,start with hot water fumigation.Outcome Measures:(1)detumescence index;(2)Pain Intensity;(3)Rom of Elbow;(4)Functional Score of Elbow;(5)excellent and good rate at the end of Mayo follow-up.The data were imported into SPSS25.0 statistical software and analyzed statistically to compare and analyze the differences between the two groups.Results: 1.The post-treatment swelling values of the two groups were compared within the group(p<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the swelling value and detumescence rate of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group(p<0.05).This shows that both groups can improve the rate of postoperative detumescence,and Chinese Medicine Fumigation and washing treatment is more effective.2.The VAS scores of the two groups at each stage of treatment were compared within the group(p<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,the visual analogue scale(VAS)of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(p<0.05).This shows that both groups can reduce postoperative pain,and Chinese medicine fumigation treatment mode more obvious effect.3.The ROM and Mayo score of the two groups were compared within the group(p<0.05).The difference was statistically significant,indicating that the two groups could improve the ROM and the Mayo Score.The ROM activity and the Mayo score of the elbow joint in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(p<0.05)1 month and 2 months after treatment.The results showed that both groups could promote the early functional recovery of elbow joint,and the fumigation and washing with traditional Chinese medicine was more effective.4.The excellent and good rate of the two groups were compared at the last follow-up,(p<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.This shows that the Chinese herbal fumigation and washing treatment of the overall effect is more significant.Conclusion:Jiawei Huoxue Zhitong Fumigation Lotion has played a significant role in relieving the pain of elbow joint after operation of type C humeral intercondylar fracture,improving the rate of detumescence and promoting the early functional recovery of elbow joint after operation,it is worth applying and popularizing in the clinical treatment of elbow joint postoperative dysfunction.
