| Objective: To understand the status quo of benefit discovery,optimism,social support and coping style in patients with type 2 diabetes;to analyze the relationship between benefit discovery,optimism,social support and coping style of patients;to explore the influencing factors of benefit findings in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,and provide evidence for nurses to implement personalized psychological care for patients with type 2 diabetes in clinical work.Methods: Convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on patients with type 2 diabetes who were hospitalized in endocrinology departments of two tertiary hospitals in Yan’an from July 2020 to December 2021.The survey tools were self-designed general information questionnaire,benefit discovery rating scale,revised version of life orientation test,social support rating scale and medical coping style questionnaire.Excel software was used to establish a database,SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis,and descriptive statistics were carried out on the general information,benefit discovery,optimism,social support and medical coping style of patients;nonparametric tests were used to analyze the difference of patient benefit discovery scores on general data.Differences;Spearman correlation was used to analyze the correlation between variables;Multiple linear regression was used to identify the independent influencing factors of benefit discovery score in patients with type 2 diabetes.Results:(1)The median and quartile of benefit discovery in patients with type 2diabetes were 48.00(42.00,53.00)points;the median and quartile of optimism tendency was 24.00(20.00,29.00)points;the median social support The number and quartile are38.00(33.00,43.00)points,and the three-dimensional scores are respectively,subjective support 24.00(20.00,29.00)points,objective support 7.00(6.00,8.00)points,support utilization is 7.00(5.00,9.00)points;the median and quartile of medical coping style are38.00(35.00,42.00)points,and the three dimensions are respectively,facing coping17.00(15.00,20.00)points,avoidance coping 14.00(13.00,15.00)points,support utilization is 6.00(5.00,9.00)points.(2)There were significant differences in the scores of patient benefit discovery in terms of gender,age,education level,marital status,place of residence,per capita monthly household income,source of medical expenses,drinking habits,exercise habits and occupation(P<0.05).(3)The benefits of type 2 diabetes patients were found to be positively correlated with optimism,total social support scores and coping(rs=0.324,0.411,0.496,P<0.01);negatively correlated with avoidance coping and yielding coping(rs=-0.325),-0.162,P < 0.01).(4)The results of regression analysis showed that face coping,avoidance coping,optimism,social support,and exercise habits finally entered the regression equation,and these five variables could explain 37.1% of the total variance found in the benefits of type 2 diabetes patients.Conclusion:(1)Patients with type 2 diabetes have different degrees of benefits in the treatment of the disease.It is found that the overall level is at a moderate level,and there is still room for improvement in the future;(2)The patients have a high level of optimism and social support,and they mainly take face-to-face measures in the disease.Coping;(3)The benefits of type 2 diabetes patients were found to be positively related to optimism,social support and coping;negatively related to avoidance coping and yielding coping;(4)face coping,avoidance coping,optimism,social support and exercise habits was an independent factor for the level of benefit finding in patients with type 2 diabetes. |
