Objective:1.To understand the status quo of senile stroke patients benefit finding, social support and coping style;2.To explore the influencing factors of elderly stroke patients benefit finding;3.Analyze the relationship between senile stroke patients benefit finding, social support and coping style;4.It provides reference for improving senile stroke patients benefit finding, alleviating patients’negative emotions and improving patients’quality of life. Methods:In this study, the convenience sampling method was used to select 245elderly stroke patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in neurology department and rehabilitation medicine department of a grade A hospital from March 2021 to October 2021 as the research objects.General information questionnaire,Benefit Finding Scale,Social Support Rate Score and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire were used to conduct the questionnaire survey. The paper version of the questionnaire was distributed to the subjects and filled in on-site.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Descriptive statistical analysis was performed on general data, benefit finding, social support, total score of coping style scale and scores of each dimension.Univariate analysis used t test and ANOVA to compare the differences of perceived benefit finding among different groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to study the correlation between senile stroke patients benefit finding, social support and coping style.Multivariate analysis was carried out with significant variables in univariate analysis and significant variables in correlation analysis as independent variables and perceived benefit of disease as dependent variable by multiple linear regression analysis.Results:1.There were 245 valid questionnaires in this study. The total score of the benefit finding scale was(58.87±11.16),which was at the medium level. The scores of each dimension were:acceptance(7.62±2.46),family relationship(5.97±1.66),world outlook(12.62±2.43),personal growth(13.44±5.23),social relationship(9.35±2.49),and health behavior(9.89±2.15).2.The total score of the social support scale was(34.17±7.64),which was in the middle level. The scores of each dimension were:subjective support(18.94±5.01),objective support(8.45±1.83),and social support utilization(6.78±2.44).3.The score of coping style in each dimension was(16.76±4.30),The avoidance score was(16.44±2.24),The yield was(11.75±1.82)minutes.The scores of yield and avoidance dimensions were higher than those of domestic norm. The face dimension is lower than the domestic norm.4.Analysis of influencing factors:there were differences in patients’age, education level, occupational status, residence, source of medical expenses, type of stroke, incidence of stroke,self-care ability and disease understanding(P<0.05).5.Pearson correlation analysis:There was a positive correlation between the total score of perceived benefit finding and social support(r=0.404,P<0.01).In each dimension, there was a positive correlation between the total score of perceived benefit finding and the total score of subjective support(r=0.409,P<0.01).There was no correlation between objective support and total score of benefit finding(P>0.05).The total score of senile stroke patients was positively correlated with face(r=0.441,P<0.01),the total score of benefit finding was positively correlated with avoidance(r=0.509,P<0.01),and there was no correlation between total score of benefit finding and submission(P>0.05).6.Multiple linear regression analysis:Among the factors affecting senile stroke patients benefit finding, four variables were included in the regression equation:age, stroke incidence, social support utilization and avoidance.R~2=0.449;Adjusted R~2=0.418,41.8%of the total variation of the common explanation equation; It was verified that the regression equation model was statistically significant(F=14.481,P<0.001).Conclusion:1.Senile stroke patients benefit finding is at a medium level, which needs to be improved;Moderate level of social support;Elderly stroke patients are more inclined to adopt avoidance and surrender coping styles to face the disease.2.The influencing factors of senile stroke patients benefit finding mainly include:patients’age, education level, occupational status, residence, source of medical expenses, type of stroke, incidence of stroke,self-care ability and disease understanding.3.The total score of senile stroke patients benefit finding was positively correlated with total score of social support;Especially, the higher the utilization of subjective support and social support, the higher the perceived benefit of disease; The total score of senile stroke patients benefit finding was positively correlated with coping style of face and avoidance.4.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, stroke incidence, social support utilization and avoidance coping style were the main influencing factors of senile stroke patients benefit finding.
