Clinical Observation Of Yishentongtang Combined With Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules In The Treatment Of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia With Dampness-heat And Stasis Of Kidney Deficiency

Objective We compared Yishentongguan Tang combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules and Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules alone to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Yishentongguan Tang in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.Methods 72 patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 36 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules,and the experimental group was treated with Yishentongguan Tang on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.The changes of international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),residual urine volume(RUV),maximum urine flow rate(Qmax),prostate volume(PV),and the scores of TCM primary and secondary symptoms and total score were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for data processing and analysis.Results1.Before treatment,there were no significant differences in general information,efficacy observation indexes,and the scores of TCM primary and secondary symptoms and total score between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).2.The score of TCM primary syndromes in the experimental group after treatment decreased before treatment(P < 0.05),IPSS,QOL,RUV,and the score of TCM secondary syndromes and total score,decreased significantly(P < 0.01),Qmax increased significantly(P< 0.01),PV showed no significant difference(P > 0.05).3.In the control group,QOL,and the scores of primary and secondary syndromes and total score after treatment decreased(P < 0.05),IPSS and RUV decreased significantly(P < 0.01),Qmax increased significantly(P < 0.01),PV showed no significant difference compared with before treatment(P > 0.05).4.The improvement of IPSS,QOL,RUV,Qmax,and the score of TCM secondary syndromes and total score,in the experimental group after treatment was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and Qmax was the most obvious(P < 0.01),while there was no significant difference in the score of TCM primary syndromes improvement between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusions1.Yishentongguan Tang combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules can effectively improve the TCM clinical symptoms of patients with kidney deficiency dampness-heat and stasis benign prostatic hyperplasia.2.Yishentongguan Tang combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules can effectively improve the IPSS,QOL,RUV,Qmax and other indexes in patients with renal deficiency dampness and heat combined with stasis benign prostatic hyperplasia.3.Compared with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules alone,Yishentongguan Tang combined with Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained Release Capsules can improve the clinical efficacy,relieve the lower urinary tract symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia with kidney deficiency and dampness-heat stasis.In addition,no obvious drug toxicity and side effects were found in the included cases.The overall safety of drug use is good,and there is value for further clinical application.
