Objective: By comparing the clinical efficacy of the rotary toggle method in different positions for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,we aimed to provide an evidence-based medical basis for the study of the efficacy of the rotary toggle method in different positions for the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods: Sixty patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who met the study criteria were collected from orthopedic outpatient cases attending Ningde Chinese Hospital between January 2021 and February 2022.Imaging typing was performed, and then the codes were randomly divided into a test group of 30 cases and a control group of 30 cases. After the implementation of the basic treatment, the test group was treated with the prone position rotary wrenching method;the control group was treated with the seated position fixed-point rotary wrenching method. The manual treatment was performed twice a week for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy of the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with the different rotational tugging methods in different positions was compared and studied from the VAS score,NPQ neck pain scale, cervical mobility and efficacy evaluation of the two groups. The data were processed with SPSS20.0 statistical software. Results: 1.General information of the two groups of cases: comparison of imaging typing, gender, age and disease duration,P>0.05,no statistical significance,comparable.2.Comparison of VAS scores: In both groups, the VAS scores decreased after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);in the comparison between groups, the overall VAS scores of the test group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of NPQ scores: In both groups, the NPQ scores decreased after surgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);in the comparison between groups, the overall NPQ scores of the test group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Comparison of cervical spine mobility: In both groups, the cervical spine mobility scores decreased after the operation, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Evaluation of Chinese medicine efficacy criteria: the excellent rate of the test group was 89.29%,and the excellent rate of the control group was 75.86%.6.Comparison of the efficacy of imaging typing:The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)when comparing the two groups of patients within the group;the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)when comparing the control of type I and II neurogenic cervical spondylosis between the groups;the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05)when comparing type III neurogenic cervical spondylosis between the groups. Conclusions: Both types of spinning techniques can relieve and even cure the nerve root symptoms in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy;and the efficacy of the prone position spinning method in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is effective than the seated position fixed-point spinning method, especially for patients with type III cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with poor cervical spine compliance, the prone position spinning method has better compliance and more accurate sense of repositioning, which is conducive to patients’ rehabilitation and improvement of work and quality of life.
