| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of Sangju Weijing Decoction in the treatment of children’s lung meridian wind heat nasosinusitis and its role in preventing disease recurrence,so as to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.MethodsA randomized controlled observation method was used to select 104 children with acute rhinosinusitis who were in accordance with the diagnostic criteria. They were randomly divided into two groups. The two groups were treated with 0.9% physiological seawater nasal spray for nasal cavity treatment. The experimental group was treated with Chinese medicine Sang Ju Weijing Decoction. The control group was treated with Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium for Suspension(7:1)combined with Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. Before and 2 weeks after treatment, the changes of clinical symptoms and signs of children in the two groups were observed by nasal abyss visual analogue scale(VAS),objective quantitative integral scale and TCM syndrome score scale, and the differences of clinical curative effects were statistically analyzed.Closely observe the adverse reactions during treatment and record them at any time.At the end of the trial, the patients were followed up for 3 months to observe the recurrence of the two groups.Results1.A total of 104 children were included in this subject, with 52 cases in each group.During the treatment period,1 case fell off in the experimental group and 51 cases were actually completed; In the control group,2 cases fell off and 50 cases were actually completed. There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease and scores before treatment between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.Overall efficacy: The total effective rate was 94.1% in the experimental group and86% in the control group.By comparison, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.Integral improvement: the main symptom score(VAS scale score + objective quantification scale score),TCM syndrome score and total score of the two groups before and after treatment were compared. After treatment, the scores of the two groups decreased significantly(P < 0.05).4.Symptom improvement: The symptoms of nasal congestion, runny nose, cough, headache, anosmia, nasal itching / sneezing, ear pain / stuffy swelling, fever, halitosis, open mouth breathing / snoring were compared between the two groups, the experimental group was better than the control group in improving the symptom scores of runny nose and cough(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference in the remaining symptom scores between the two groups(P > 0.05).5.Improvement of signs: After treatment, the nasal congestion, turbinate edema, nasal mucus scab, rhinorrhea pharynx signs of the two groups were compared. The experimental group was better than the control group in improving nasal congestion(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference in the scores of other signs between the two groups(P > 0.05).6.Improvement of TCM syndromes:Comparing with The TCM syndromes of the two groups after treatment, the improvement of runny nose(turbidity),cough and expectoration in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the remaining two groups(P > 0.05).7.Within 3 months after treatment, there was 1 case of recurrence in the experimental group, and the recurrence rate was 1.96%.There were 8 cases of recurrence in the control group, and the recurrence rate was 16%.After comparison, the recurrence in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusions1.Sangju Weijing decoction is effective in the treatment of children’s lung meridian wind heat type nasosinusitis.2.Sangju Weijing decoction is superior to amoxicillin potassium clavulanate dry suspension(7:1)combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray in the treatment of runny nose, cough, expectoration and nasal congestion.3.The short-term recurrence risk of Sangju Weijing Decoction in the treatment of children’s lung meridian wind heat nasal abyss is lower than that of amoxicillin potassium clavulanate dry suspension(7:1)combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray. |
