| Objective:The profile of adult skeletal Class I malocclusion with the lower central incisor upright on the base bone after orthodontic treatment was processed by computer to simulate the profile of Andrews six elements Ⅱ(the upper Incisor Facial-axis Lower Incisor falling on the GALL line). To study the difference of soft tissue profile by comparing the two groups of profile, and to find out which standard of incisor location has a better profile,it provides the reference for the clinical treatment design. Methods:The profile of 24 adult patients with skeletal Class I malocclusion with mandibular central incisors upright on the base bone was processed by PS software. The profile of the Upper Incisor Facial-axis Lower Incisor on the GALL line was simulated, and 24 groups of contrast images were obtained.SPSS24.0 software was used to carry out statistical analysis on the scores of professional group and non-professional group.Whether there was an aesthetic difference between the two groups of raters was compared,as well as which of the two groups rated as having a better profile based on the criteria used to locate the incisor.Result:1.The difference between the two groups in the post-operative profile score of the lower central incisor upright on the base bone: The professional group and the non-professional group had a significant difference in the post-operative profile score of the lower central incisor upright on the base bone(P<0.05),the Professional Group scored higher than the non-professional Group on the postoperative profile of the lower central incisor upright on the base bone.2.The difference of postoperative profile score between the two groups according to Andrews six elements Ⅱ: There was no significant difference between the professional and non-professional groups in the postoperative profile score that in line with Andrews six elements Ⅱ(P>0.05).3.The difference of the non-professional group’s aesthetic judgment on the profile of the two schemes: There was a significant difference between the non-professional group in the postoperative profile of the Lower Central incisor upright on the base bone and that of Andrews Six Elements Ⅱ(P<0.05).The non-professional group scored higher on the postoperative profile of the Lower Central incisor upright on the base bone than on the Andrews six elements Ⅱ.4.The difference of the professional group’s aesthetic judgment on the profile of the two schemes: There was a significant difference between the professional group in the postoperative profile of the Lower Central incisor upright on the base bone and that of Andrews Six Elements Ⅱ(P<0.05).The professional group scored higher on the postoperative profile of the Lower Central incisor upright on the base bone than on the Andrews six elements Ⅱ.Conclusion:1.For the postoperative profile of the lower central incisor upright on the base bone, the non-professionals have higher aesthetic requirements.2.Both the professionals and the non-professionals considered that the profile of the lower central incisor upright on the base was more beautiful than that of Andrews six elements Ⅱ. |
