| Objective:To analyze the correlation between dust mite allergy and history of smoking, alcohol consumption, personal history of allergic diseases, family history of allergic diseases, living environment, and dietary habits in patients with bronchial asthma to provide a clinical basis for disease prevention. Methods:Patients with bronchial asthma diagnosed at the outpatient clinic of the Department of Respiratory Medicine,First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected, and 161 patients with dust mite skin prick test results of++ and above were randomly selected to be included in the dust mite positive group,and161 patients with negative dust mite skin prick test results for the same period were included in the dust mite negative group, and after collecting data through questionnaires, significant influencing factors were screened out using univariate analysis, and then binary logistic regression analysis was used to explore the factors associated with dust mite positivity in bronchial asthma patients, and the OR and 95% CI of the associated factors were reported.Results:1.The results of univariate analysis showed that having a history of alcohol consumption, having a personal history of allergic diseases, having a family history of allergic diseases, keeping pets, house floor, number of people living in the household,2.living area, age of the house building, heating device, type of pillow, type of quilt, frequency of eating vegetables, frequency of eating meat, frequency of eating fish, frequency of eating fruit, frequency of drinking juice, and frequency of drinking soft drinks were associated with dust mite negativity or dust mite positivity(p < 0.05).3.The results of multifactorial analysis showed that a history of alcohol consumption, the number of people living in the household was 4-5,the type of pillow was latex pillow, the type of pillow was plant-based,the OR values of occasional meat consumption, frequent meat consumption, and occasional soda consumption were all less than 1,and were protective factors for dust mite allergy in asthmatic patients(p < 0.05);a personal history of allergic diseases,a family history of allergic diseases, the living environment was a building, occasional fish consumption, frequent fish OR values were all greater than 1 and were risk factors for dust mite allergy in asthmatic patients(p <0.05).Conclusion:1.Family occupancy of 4-5 people, latex pillows, buckwheat bark or grain type pillows, appropriate alcohol consumption, appropriate meat, moderate consumption of soft drinks on the occurrence of dust mite allergy in asthma patients may play a protective role.2.A history of allergies or family history of allergic diseases, living in buildings, and eating fish may have a contributing role in the development of dust mite allergy in asthmatics and should be taken seriously. |
