Background:As one of the more distinctive therapies in the treasury of Chinese medicine, the visceral chart point method is widely used to treat internal and external diseases of women and children. However,a review of the relevant books and literature shows that the effectiveness of the technique is simply described as "the amount is the effect, the Qi is effective",which is a less efficient method of measuring effectiveness and is often difficult for beginners to follow.Manipulation is an important factor in determining the efficacy of Tui Na,mainly in terms of force, frequency, duration and direction of application. This study was conducted in order to establish the relationship between frequency and efficacy of different techniques and to improve clinical efficiency.Purpose:The aim of this project is to observe the effects of different frequencies of the organ chart pointing method on the gastrogram, symptoms of liver-stomach disharmony and dyspepsia in patients with functional dyspepsia upper abdominal pain syndrome,to explore the relationship between frequency and efficacy of specific types of manipulation, and to provide a reference for clinical internal medicine manipulation, and to further explore the quantitative efficacy relationship from the perspective of frequency-supplementation.Method:In this study, patients diagnosed with functional dyspepsia upper abdominal pain syndrome with liver and stomach disharmony in the outpatient clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between June 2021 and December 2021 were divided into high-frequency group,low-frequency group and control group according to the random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. In the high-frequency group, the patients were treated with the viscera point manipulation at a frequency of 240-280 times/min and in the low-frequency group, the patients were treated with the viscera point manipulation at a frequency of 120-160 times/min.The manipulation time for both groups was 20 min,and the treatment was given once every other day for 2weeks.Patients were evaluated on the day before and the day after the treatment by body surface electro-gastric examination, liver and stomach disharmony syndrome score and Nepean dyspepsia index score respectively.Result:(1)The differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05)between the three groups of subjects before treatment in terms of gender, age, duration of illness, body surface electrogram, liver and stomach disharmony syndrome score and Nepean dyspepsia index by statistical analysis and were comparable at baseline.(2)In a before-and-after comparison within the groups after treatment, the subjects in all three groups showed significant improvement in the body surface electrogram, liver and stomach discordance score and nipin dyspepsia score compared with those before treatment(p<0.05).(3)After the treatment,a two-by-two comparison was made between the groups. Both the high-frequency group and the low-frequency group showed better improvement than the control group in body surface electrogram, liver and stomach disharmony syndrome score and nipin dyspepsia score(P<0.05),and the improvement in the high-frequency group was better than the low-frequency group(P<0.05).(4)At the end of the treatment course,3 cases were cured,7 cases showed efficacy,19 cases were effective and 2 cases were invalid in the HF group, with a total effective rate of93.55%;1 case was cured,5 cases showed efficacy,21 cases were effective and 4 cases were invalid in the LF group, with a total effective rate of 87.10%;0 cases were cured,1 case showed efficacy,19 cases were effective and 10 cases were invalid in the control group, with a total effective rate of 66.67%.Conclusion:(1)The treatment of upper abdominal pain syndrome of functional dyspepsia with liver and stomach disharmony by the visceral chart point method has obvious clinical efficacy, and the treatment is safe and can be promoted clinically.(2)The different frequencies of the Dirty Diagram Pointing Method are better than conventional oral domperidone tablets in regulating gastrointestinal electrophysiological disorders, improving the symptoms of liver and stomach disharmony and upper abdominal pain, and the high frequency group has better treatment effects than the low frequency group. There is a correlation between the frequency of different techniques and the therapeutic efficacy of the visceral chart point method, with high frequency techniques favouring diarrhoea and low frequency techniques favouring tonicity. The treatment of functional gastrointestinal diseases with the visceral chart acupoint method is effective, comfortable and easily accepted by patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
