| Objective: Objective: with purpose of providing more effective and economical treatment for patients with non-small cell lung cancer,this paper conducts retrospective analysis and economic evaluation of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine adjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer.Methods: This study collected 100 advanced non-small cell lung cancer(Qi Yin deficiency type or stagnation and blood stasis type)patients’ clinical data from Qingdao Haici Hospital during the period of Jan 1,2019 to Dec 31,2020.According to whether it is combined with traditional Chinese medicine adjuvant chemotherapy,it is divided into two groups: group a chemotherapy group and group B chemotherapy + traditional Chinese medicine adjuvant chemotherapy group.At each treatment stage,imaging and hematological tests were carried out every two diagnosis and treatment cycles,and the response evaluation criteria in solid tumors(recist1.1)and the general cytotoxicity evaluation criteria of National Cancer Institute(CTC AE 5.0)were used to evaluate the tumor treatment efficacy and drug toxicity and side effects respectively.The pharmacoeconomic evaluation results and the clinical effect are the primary endpoint of this study;the change of clinical manifestations,the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment,the level and positive status of tumor markers and the immunological evaluation indexes and quality of life,all of these are the secondary endpoint of this study.Use spss26.0 statistical analysis software to realize the data and the analysis of inter group difference data through chi square test or t-test.Results: There were 50 patients in group A and 50 patients in group B.Effect evaluation results: Group B’s objective reduction rate was approximated 20% higher than that of group A(χ2=4.762,P<0.05).The remission rates of dry cough,chest pain,blood phlegm,less food,fatigue and shortness of breath in group B were better than those in group A(P< 0.05).Before diagnosis and treatment,the difference between the levels and positive rate of CA125 and CEA in group A and B is not significant(P > 0.05).After the diagnosis and treatment,there was significant difference between the two groups: group B’s CEA levels and positive rates of CA125 and were all lower than those in group A(P<0.05);And both groups’ levels and positive rate of CA125 and CEA were lower when comparing with those before diagnosis and treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in CD3,CD4,CD8,CD4 / CD8,CIK and NK between group A and group B(P > 0.05).After diagnosis and treatment,CD3,CD4,CD4 / CD8 and CIK in group B were higher than those in group A(P < 0.05);The values of CD3,CD4,CD4 / CD8 and CIK in group A and group B after diagnosis and treatment were higher than those before diagnosis and treatment(P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference between CD8 and NK before and after diagnosis and treatment(P > 0.05).Compared with group A,group B’s increasing rate of quality of life was much Higher,and the stable and decreasing rate were lower(z=2.333,P<0.05).Compared with group A,group B’s incidence rate of gastrointestinal reaction was higher(P<0.05),and the incidence of liver function impairment,renal function injury and myelosuppression were all lower.The patients in group A and group B did not have class IV diseases,and the above adverse reactions were effectively alleviated under symptomatic treatment such as antiemetic drugs and liver protection.C and E in group B were higher than those in group A(P <0.05),C/E was lower than that in group A(P < 0.05),△C /△E = 104.72.Conclusion: Chemotherapy combined with the addition and subtraction of fixed traditional Chinese medicine decoction can significantly improve the objective remission rate of patients with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer,effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients such as cough,chest pain,blood phlegm,lack of food,fatigue and shortness of breath,reduce the side effects of chemotherapy related drugs,improve the immune function of the body,and significant economic benefits. |
