| Objective: After coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG)or percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),patients with severe coronary artery disease(CHD)were significantly affected by coronary artery bypass grafting.Long-term outcomes were compared between the two groups by observing death, myocardial infarction, stroke, revascularization, and angina pectoris(clinical symptoms). Methods: A total of 300 patients with severe coronary heart disease who received elective PCI or CABG revascularization in Beijing 301 Hospital before 2014 were collected. The long-term clinical efficacy of the enrolled patients was determined through APP self-reported combined telephone follow-up,outpatient and inpatient medical records, and clinical follow-up over 5 years. Results: A total of 300 cases were included in this study;150 patients underwent CABG and 150 underwent PCI.In the CABG and PCI groups, the average age was68.1 and 65.2 years, respectively;the proportion of male patients was 72% and 70.7%respectively;the proportion of triple-vessel lesion was 74% versus 60%,and duration after revascularization was 5.2 years vs 4.5 years. There were no differences in the incidence rates of all-cause mortality between CABG and PCI groups(0%: 0%),myocardial infarctions(0%:0.7%),and stroke(0%:0.7%).There were substantial differences in re-revascularization(4 cases:13 cases;2.6%:8.7%,OR=0.29,P=0.025;P<0.05)and incidence of angina(19 cases:35 cases;12.7%:23.3%,OR= 0.48,P=0.016;P<0.05).Conclusion: In patients with severe coronary heart disease who have undergone revascularization, after more than 5 years of CABG,no clear differences in all-cause mortality, myocardial infarction, and stroke were observed;this group was significantly better than PCI in terms of re-revascularization and angina control. |
