| Objective:Through the detection of indexes such as the positive rate of platelet source S100A8/A9 of the patients of acute gouty arthritis group, intermittent period of gouty arthritis group and control group, evaluate the diagnostic value of platelet source S100A8/A9 of gout and its relationship with inflammatory activity of gout, and further explore its relationship with commonly used laboratory indexes of cardiovascular system diseases. Methods:The research subjects were 36 male patients with primary gout arthritis who visited The Affiliated Hospital of Qing Hai University from November2020 to June 2021.According to the activity of gout,21 patients were divided into acute gout arthritis group and 15 patients into the intermittent gout arthritis group.Meanwhile,15 healthy people were included into control group.Flow cytometry was used to detect the positive rate of platelet source S100A8/A9.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to analyze the correlation between platelet source S100A8/A9 and other indicators, and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.The rate of S100A8/A9 positive from platelets in patients with acute gout arthritis and intermittent gout arthritis was significantly higher than that in control group. The rate of S100A8/A9 positive from plates in patients with acute gout arthritis was also significantly higher than that in patients with intermittent gout arthritis, with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.The levels of UA,CRP,ESR,PLT,TC,LY,NLR and PLR in acute gout arthritis group were higher than those in intermittent gout arthritis group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The levels of UA,CRP,ESR,PLT,IMT,TC,TG,N,LY,NLR and PLR in acute gout arthritis group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The levels of UA,CRP,ESR,PLT,IMT,TG,N,NLR and PLR in intermittent gout arthritis group were higher than those in healthy control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).5.Spearman correlation analysis results suggested that platelet source S100A8/A9 was positively correlated with UA,CRP,ESR,PLT,MPV,IMT,TG,NLR and PLR,the correlation coefficients were(r_s=0.690,0.596,0.631,0.367,0.295,0.463,0.662,0.658,and 0.504;P<0.05),was negatively correlated with LY,and the correlation coefficient was(r_s=-0.387;P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The platelet S100A8/A9 positive rate,CRP,ESR,NLR,and PLR in patients with gout can reflect the inflammation in patients, thus providing ideas for the prediction and early intervention of gout inflammation.2.The PLT,IMT and TG of patients with acute gout arthritis and intermittent gout arthritis were higher than those patients in control group, which were more likely to cause cardiovascular diseases.3.Platelet source S100A8/A9 plays an important role in the occurrence and development of gout arthritis and is expected to be used as a new biomarker for the prediction and evaluation of gout activity and cardiovascular events. |
