Objective:To investigate the expression of p53 up-regulated apoptotic factor(PUMA)in cirrhotic portal hypertensive gastropathy and helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection, and to explore the possible relationship between PUMA,cirrhotic portal hypertensive gastropathy and Hp.Methods:65 cirrhotic patients with portal hypertensive gastropathy who were admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from November 2020 to November 2021 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected as the case group, and 61 patients with chronic gastritis who underwent gastroscopy at the physical examination center during the same period were selected as the control group. Each participant was tested for 13C-UBT and serum Hp antibody, including 35 Hp positive patients and 30 Hp negative patients in the case group. There were 30 Hp positive patients and 31 Hp negative patients in the control group. The serum PUMA content was detected by ELISA,and then the serum PUMA content was detected again after Hp eradication treatment in patients with Hp in liver cirrhosis. The expression of PUMA in liver cirrhosis with Hp and Hp infection and its relationship with clinical characteristics were analyzed.Results:1.The expression level of PUMA in serum of patients with cirrhosis was higher than that of control group(P<0.001),The expression level of PUMA in serum of Hp positive patients in the case group and control group was significantly higher than that of Hp negative patients, and the level of PUMA in the case group decreased significantly after Hp eradication treatment compared with that before, with statistical significance(P<0.05);2.The expression level of PUMA in serum of mild PHG patients was significantly lower than that of severe PHG group(P<0.05);3.There was no statistical difference in PUMA content among child-pugh grading, portal vein, gender and age group(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Hp infection may significantly up-regulate the expression of PUMA in serum of PHG patients, and the expression level of PUMA decreased significantly after Hp eradication, suggesting that Hp may be involved in gastric mucosal cell apoptosis of PHG patients.2.The expression level of PUMA in serum of patients with severe GASTRIC mucosa PHG was significantly higher than that of patients with mild gastric mucosa PHG,suggesting that PUMA may be involved in the formation of PHG. |
