Objectives:(1)To investigate the status of breast cancer patients’ readiness to return to work;(2)To analyze the related factors of breast cancer patients’ readiness to return to work;(3)The influencing factors of breast cancer patients’ readiness to return to work were analyzed by structural equation model.Methods:(1)This study is a cross-sectional study.428 breast cancer patients in a third-class hospital from December 2020 to may 2021 were included in the study according to the natriuretic emission standards by using convenient sampling;(2)With the social cognitive theory as the guiding framework, the baseline data of patients were investigated with General Demographic Data,Perceived Social Support Scale,Health-Related Cognitive Evaluation Scale,Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire,Cancer Patients’ Sense Of Disease Benefit Scale, and Return To Work Readiness Scale, and their social psychological status and return to work readiness were evaluated, and the related influencing factors of patients’ return to work readiness were analyzed, the structural equation model is established;(3)A structural equation model based on the theoretical model was established for breast cancer patients who have returned to work and those who have not returned to work, respectively,to explore the impact of breast cancer patients’ perceived social support, cognitive evaluation, positive psychological capital and disease benefit on their readiness to return to work;(4)Excel tables were used to collate and summarize the data derived from the questionnaire stars.SPSS 23.0 software was used for reliability and validity analysis, normality test, descriptive statistical analysis, single factor analysis(independent sample t-test,chi square test, single factor analysis of variance, rank sum test, correlation analysis)and multifactor analysis(linear regression analysis).Process plug-in was used for intermediary effect analysis,AMOS 24.0 was used to construct and test structural equation model.Results:(1)A total of 428 breast cancer patients were investigated in this study.Among them,139 did not return to work, and the non return rate was 32.5%;289 people have returned to work, with a return rate of 67.5%.30(7%)people aged 18-29 years,127(29.7%)people aged 30-39 years,173(40.4%)people aged 40-49 years,98(22.9%)people aged 50-55 years,58(13.6%)people whose monthly family income is less than 3000 yuan,210(49.1%)people whose monthly family income is between 3000 yuan and 5000 yuan, and 160(37.4%)people whose monthly family income is more than 5000 yuan;(2)The average total score of health cognition evaluation of non working patients was(69.52±17.3),the average total score of disease benefit was(71.31 ± 15.35),the average total score of understanding social support was(66.32±7.77),the average total score of psychological capital was(32.96±5.67),and the average total score of returning to work was(47.14 ± 10.81);(3)The average total score of the health cognition evaluation of the working patients was(72.68±19.68),the average total score of the disease benefit was(71.33±20.23),the average total score of the understanding of social support was(60.04±14.46),the average total score of the psychological capital was(20.78±6.15),and the average total score of the return to work readiness was(29.33±6.74);(4)There was a statistically significant difference in the readiness to return to work between those who had worked and those who had not(P<0.05).The higher the education level, the higher the score of the readiness to return to work;(5)The readiness of working and non working patients to return to work was positively correlated with health cognition evaluation, disease benefit, perceived social support and psychological capital(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was r=0.379~0.649;(6)In the linear regression analysis, the effect of psychological capital on the return to work readiness of the working patients was statistically significant. The effects of disease sense of benefit, psychological capital and education background on the return to work readiness of the unemployed patients were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)In this study, the overall return rate of breast cancer patients is higher than that of non return, indicating that most patients still need to return to work. The age of the patients is relatively low,and they are still in the age group that needs to work. Most patients have low income;(2)Education is the influencing factor of patients’ readiness to return to work;(3)The readiness of breast cancer patients to return to work was positively correlated with perceived social support, cognitive evaluation, positive psychological capital, and sense of benefit from disease;(4)The structural equation model shows that:Comprehend that social support has a completely mediating effect on the return to work readiness of Breast Cancer patients who have worked and Breast Cancer Patients who have not worked; In both working and non working Breast Cancer Patients, perceived social support has a positive effect on their readiness to return to work;In both working and non working Breast Cancer Patients, cognitive evaluation plays a mediating role in understanding social support and returning to work readiness, and has a positive impact on returning to work readiness; In the working and non working Breast Cancer Patients, cognitive evaluation, psychological capital and sense of benefit from disease all have a chain multiple mediating effect between understanding social support and returning to work readiness, and have a positive effect on returning to work readiness.
