Study On The Treatment Of Erosive Oral Lichen Planus By 5 Kinds Of Integrated Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine Based On Network Meta-analysis

PurposeIn this study,network meta-analysis was used to explore the difference between five kinds of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment schemes and western medicine immune drugs in the treatment of erosive oral lichen planus(EOLP),so as to provide evidence-based basis for the clinical treatment of EOLP.MethodsAfter the researchers developed a search strategy,the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on the treatment of EOLP with total glucosides of paeony,compound danshen,kangfuxin liquid,kouyanqing granules,jieduyukui decoction and other combined immune drugs were searched from the establishment of each database to February 2023.The databases included Pub Med,The Cochrane Library,Web of Science,China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI),VIPChina science and technology journal database(VIP-CSTJD)and Wanfang database.Two researchers independently searched,screened,extracted data and assessed the risk of bias according to the established process.If the outcome index was a binary variable,odds ratio(OR)was selected as the effect size.If the outcome index was a continuous variable,standardized mean difference(SMD)was selected as the effect size.The outcome indicators were analyzed by effect size combined with its 95%confidence interval(CI).Review Manager 5.4 was used for literature quality evaluation,and Statal4 was used for consistency test,small sample effect test and statistical analysis.ResultsA total of 344 articles were retrieved,and 18 studies were finally included,with 1424 patients.All the types of studies were RCT,and the quality of the literature was low or medium risk.The results of network meta-analysis showed that in terms of treatment efficiency,total glucosides of paeony+immune drugs>Kangfuxin Liquid+immune drugs>Jiedu Yukui Decoction+immune drugs>Compound Danshen+immune drugs>Kouyanqing Granules+immune drugs>immune drugs;in terms of recurrence rate after treatment,immune drugs>Kangfuxin Liquid+immune drugs>Compound Danshen+immune drugs>Total Glucosides of Paeony+immune drugs>Jiedu Yukui Decoction+immune drugs;in terms of the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment,Jiedu Yukui Decoction+immune drugs>Kouyanqing Granules+immune drugs>Kangfuxin Liquid+immune drugs>TGP+immune drugs>immune drugs;in terms of reducing VAS score,Kangfuxin Liquid+immune drugs>Kouyanqing Granules+ immune drugs>Jiedu Yukui Decoction+ immune drugs>TGP+immune drugs>immune drugs.ConclusionThe treatment regimen of total glucosides of paeony combined with immune drugs is superior to other regimens in terms of treatment efficiency;the treatment of Jiedu Yukui Decoction combined with immune drugs can better prevent the recurrence of EOLP;the use of immune drugs alone produces the least adverse reactions or side effects;the best treatment for reducing VAS score is Kangfuxin Liquid combined with immune drugs.
