| Infectious diseases are a major burden on global public health and socioeconomic stability,since the 21st century,a number of new infectious diseases,such as SARS,H7N9 and COVID-19,have been spreading one after another,it is a serious threat to people’s health and safety,and has brought a great impact on economic and social development.The situation above made the prevention and control of infectious diseases and protection of human health and public health very important by preventing,controlling and eliminating infectious diseases through various regulations.Medical institutions play an important role in the prevention and control of infectious diseases,undertaking the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases related to medical treatment and the prevention of infectious diseases in the responsible areas,the public hospitals play an important role in the prevention and control of infectious diseases,reducing the mortality and improving the cure rate.Hospital administrators,as the managers of hospitals,are an important part of the prevention and control of infectious diseases in hospitals,but they are also a group that is easy to be neglected.Taking YD Hospital as the specific research object,combing the status quo of infectious disease prevention and control,together with the actual work of infectious disease prevention and control in YD Hospital,choosing the hospital administrators as the main evaluation object this study aimed to clarify the current situation and influencing factors of their ability to prevent and control infectious diseases.Under the guidance of the theory of KAP,the authors used the method of literature analysis,interviews and expert letters to compile the items of the scale.Through the method of Delphi,we selected experts from different universities,Grade 3A general hospitals,Bureaus of Health Administration,Centers for Disease Control and prevention to conduct three rounds of inquiry and finally "Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Ability Assessment Scale for Administrative Staff of Grade 3A General Hospitalsl"was formed.On this basis,a questionnaire was used to investigate the three dimensions of knowledge,attitude and behavior of the administrative staff in YD hospital.Descriptive statistical analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis were used to explore the current situation and factors influencing the ability level of infectious disease prevention and control of administrative staff in YD Hospital.Through data collection and analysis,it was found the scale for assessing the prevention and control ability on infectious disease of administrative personnel in YD hospital was reasonable,reliable and had good reliability and validity,which could be used to evaluate the current situation of prevention and control of infectious diseases;the knowledge level was slightly insufficient compared with the attitude and behavior,and the average score of knowledge was lower than that of the attitude and behavior dimensions,the positive degree of attitude dimension was highest;there were positive correlations between knowledge and attitude,between knowledge and practice,and between attitude and practice in infectious diseases prevention and control among the staff in YD hospital;linear regression analysis model of the knowledge dimension,attitude dimension and practice dimension had a good fit.Marriage,professional title series,professional title level,religious belief,search frequency,education and training were the determinants of knowledge dimension score;search frequency,education and training,professional title series were the factors that affected the scores of attitude and practice dimensions.Strengthening the training to improve the level of prevention and control of infectious diseases;enrich the forms of activities to enhance participation in the prevention and control of infectious diseases;actively promote and guide to create a strong atmosphere of prevention and control of infectious diseases are all needed to improve the ability of the prevention and control ability of infectious diseases.The hospital should pay attention to the infectious disease prevention and control training of the staff,and take into account the personal conditions of the staff,make corresponding plans to improve the level of the ability of infectious disease prevention and control.This study developed a scale for assessing the infectious disease prevention and control ability of administrative staff in grade 3A general hospitals,which would further enrich the research on the current situation and influencing factors of infectious disease prevention and control among hospital administrators.The results could provide reference for hospital administrators to strengthen their own ability of prevention and control of infectious diseases,and formulate scientific and reasonable plans for prevention and control of infectious diseases for hospitals and related departments to. |
