| Objective In this study,we construct a mHealth-based TCM Emotion Therapy programme for cardiovascular disease patients and its application effects to improve anxiety and depression, psychological resilience and self-regulatory motivation of cardiovascular disease patients’ health behaviours. This study aims to provide new theoretical guidance and scientific basis for TCM emotional therapy for cardiovascular disease patients. Methods 1.Through literature research,a preliminary screening of indicators for the TCM Emotional Intelligence intervention protocol for patients with cardiovascular disease was carried out to explore the correlation between TCM Emotional Intelligence and Western psychological resilience theory based on emotion regulation theory;a purposive sample of 12 patients with cardiovascular disease were interviewed qualitatively to refine the protocol;eight experts in the relevant fields of this study were invited to conduct expert group meetings to discuss and revise the protocol;a pre-test was conducted to determine the intervention based on mobile health The study was conducted using a randomised controlled trial.2.The empirical part of this study used a randomised controlled design with 72 outpatients with cardiovascular disease who attended a community hospital in Hangzhou and met both inclusion and exclusion criteria as the study population.Randomly divided into control and intervention groups using the random number table method. In the control group,36 patients were given conventional health education, while in the intervention group,36 patients were given TCM emotional therapy. The intervention was given to patients with cardiovascular disease for a period of 8 weeks, and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Resilience Scale-25(RS-25)and Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire(TSRQ)were used as evaluation indicators for both groups before and after 8 weeks of intervention, respectively. The assessment was conducted before and after 8 weeks of follow-up.The data were processed by SPSS25.0 statistical software, and descriptive analysis,t-test,rank sum test and chi-square test were used to statistically analyse the general information and scale data of the two groups, and the difference was considered statistically significant at P<0.05.Results 1.The theoretical framework of TCM emotion and Western psychological resilience was established through literature review;the literature study identified the basic methods of TCM emotion intervention, including the method of verbal enlightenment, the method of obeying emotions and desires, the method of transferring and changing emotions, the method of winning over emotions and spirit, and the method of calming the mind. The expert group meeting revised 6 items of the programme without deleting or adding any items, and made 9 changes to the content of the system;the pre-test revised the design page of the "mini-program" and the implementation of the programme. The TCM Emotion Programme resulted in 5 primary indicators,10 secondary indicators and 28 tertiary indicators.2.Results of the empirical study:34 people in the intervention group and 34 people in the control group completed the 8-week intervention and follow-up survey. Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in age, gender, marital status, monthly income, education, sleep, exercise, diet and smoking status between the two groups at baseline information analysis(P>0.05),and no statistically significant differences in the pre-intervention RS-25,SAS,SDS and TSRQ scale scores between the two groups(P>0.05),with balanced and comparable baseline information.Analysis of the effect after 8 weeks of intervention:①RS-25:the RS-25 score of the intervention group was higher than that before the intervention, while the RS-25 score of the intervention group was 118.79 ±18.95 higher than that of the control group 106.06±16.62,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);②SAS and SDS:the SAS and SDS scores of the intervention group were lower than those before the intervention, while the The SAS score 35.85±6.83 and SDS score 39.56±9.11 in the intervention group were lower than the SAS score 44.29±7.18 and SDS score 45.76±9.64 in the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05);③TSRQ:the scores of regular exercise, healthy diet and non-smoking motivation in the intervention group were higher than those before the intervention, while the scores TSRQ-PA 66.06±11.15,TSRQ-HE 64.82±10.48 and TSRQ-SS 70.18±10.75 were all higher than the TSRQ-PA 57.35±12.34,TSRQ-HE 56.82±10.44 and TSRQ-SS 60.35±12.92 scores in the control group, and all differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The intervention program derived from literature research, qualitative interviews, expert group meetings and pre-testing is scientifically sound, and it is feasible to choose "WeChat applets" as the vehicle for mobile medical intervention.2.Through experimental research and effect evaluation, the mHealth-based TCM Emotion Programme for cardiovascular diseases can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of cardiovascular disease patients, significantly increase the level of psychological resilience, and significantly enhance the level of self-regulation of health behaviours, which is operable, effective and replicable. |
