Data Mining-based Exploration Of The Clinicalmedication Pattern Of Professor YunshengXu For The Treatment Of Gouty Arthritis

Objective: To use the FangNet platform to analyze clinical cases of gout arthritis(GA)treated by Professor Yunsheng Xu in order to explore and summarize his medication rules and clinical experience in treating the disease.This will optimize and guide clinical medication,providing more diagnosis and treatment ideas for traditional Chinese medicine in treating GA.Methods: 100 GA cases treated by Professor Yunsheng Xu from September 2020 to December 2022 were collected.Frequency statistics,PageRank algorithm,and cluster analysis were used to analyze these cases with the FangNet platform and local data management software to summarize Professor Xu’s medication rules and clinical experience in treating the disease.Result:Analysis of the nature,taste,and meridian of medicinal properties: The main medicinal properties are cold,warm,and neutral.The main tastes are sweet,bitter,and spicy.The main meridians are the liver,spleen,lung,heart,and stomach.Frequency of medication: Among 156 Chinese herbal medicines used in 100 prescriptions that meet the inclusion criteria,the most frequently used medicine is Tu Fu Ling.Core medicines:According to the PageRank algorithm,the core medicines used by Professor Xu to treat GA are Tu Fu Ling,Yi Yi Ren,Ze Xie,Ze Lan,Qing Feng Teng,Hai Feng Teng,Ren Dong Teng,Luo Shi Teng,Wei Ling Xian,Cang Zhu,Huang Bai,Fu Ling,Mian Ma Xie,Bai Zhu,Chi Shao,Du Huo,Gan Cao,Che Qian Zi,Hu Zhang,Chuan Xiong,Tu Bie Chong,Tao Ren,Chuan Niu Xi,Sang Zhi,Dang Gui,Bai Shao,Qin Jiao,Sang Ji Sheng,Hong Hua,Mu Dan Pi,and Gu Sui Bu,totaling 31 Chinese herbal medicines.Combination of medicines: The commonly used medicine combinations for treating GA by Professor Xu are Du Huo and Sang Ji Sheng,Huo Xiang and Pei Lan,Cang Zhu and Huang Bai,Ze Xie and Ze Lan,Xu Duan and Gu Sui Bu,Wei Ling Xian and Mian Ma Xie,Chuan Xiong and Bai Zhu,Che Qian Zi and Fu Ling,Qing Feng Teng and Hai Feng Teng,Ren Dong Teng and Luo Shi Teng,Cang Zhu,Huang Bai,Che Qian Zi,and Si Teng.Medicine-symptom relationship: The commonly used medicine-symptom combinations in prescriptions are Chuan Xiong or Tu Bie Chong for pulse tightness,Sang Ji Sheng for lower back pain,Huang Qin for bitter taste in the mouth,Yi Yi Ren for greasy tongue coating,Hu Zhang for dark red tongue,and Suan Zao Ren for poor sleep.Medicinal clustering analysis: Ten groups of medicines were obtained,which are as follows:(Ⅰ)Chi Shao,Gan Cao,Che Qian Zi,Chuan Xiong,and Chuan Niu Xi;(Ⅱ)Fu Ling and Bai Zhu;(Ⅲ)Gui Zhi,Di Long,Dan Shen,Huang Qi,and Chen Pi;(Ⅳ)Wei Ling Xian,Cang Zhu,Huang Bai,Mian Ma Xie,and Du Huo;(Ⅴ)Dang Gui,Tao Ren,Qin Jiao,and Hong Hua;(Ⅵ)Chuan Niu Xi,Gu Sui Bu,Du Zhong,Xu Duan,and Mu Dan Pi;(Ⅶ)Ji Xue Teng,Yin Chen,Ge Gen,Mu Gua,and Yu Mi Xu;(Ⅷ)Ren Dong Teng,Qing Feng Teng,Hai Feng Teng,and Luo Shi Teng;(Ⅸ)Hu Zhang and Tu Bie Chong;and(Ⅹ)Tu Fu Ling,Ze Xie,Yi Yi Ren,and Ze Lan.Discussion: Professor Xu believes that the essence of this disease lies in spleen-kidney deficiency,with damp-heat and blood stasis as its manifestations,accompanied by a mixture of cold and heat,and a combination of deficiency and excess.Therefore,in the treatment,it is necessary to grasp the overall trend of yin-yang deficiency and excess,prioritize the main and secondary factors,and use the principles of clearing heat,resolving dampness,removing stasis,and relieving pain,supplemented by tonifying the spleen and nourishing the kidneys,to achieve good clinical efficacy.
