The nursing profession bears important social responsibilities.Undergraduate nursing students are the main reserve force for the nursing community,which to some extent demonstrates the nurses’ understanding and attitude towards the profession.Exploring and researching the physical and mental health and professional concepts of nursing students is one of the important factors in establishing an excellent nursing community.This study explores the relationship between nursing students’ hope,career self-efficacy,and career identity from the perspective of psychological capital.Through theoretical analysis and group assisted intervention,methods to improve nursing students’ career identity are explored.The research is mainly divided into two parts: investigation research and intervention research.The first part is investigation research,which uses the Adult Desire Factor Quality Scale(ADHS),the Nursing Student Career Self Efficacy Questionnaire(PSQNS),and the Nursing Student Career Identity Questionnaire(PIQNS).948 undergraduate nursing students were selected as the research subjects through cluster sampling method to explore hope.The relationship between career self-efficacy and career identity,as well as the mediating role of career self-efficacy in the relationship between hope and career identity.The second study was an intervention study,which designed a hope career self-efficacy intervention plan to provide group psychological counseling intervention for undergraduate nursing students.The experimental group of 43 people underwent 8intervention sessions of 90 minutes each time,while the control group of 44 people did not undergo any experimental treatment.The pre and post tests of the experimental group and the control group were analyzed.Through the above quantitative and intervention studies,the main conclusions are as follows:1.There are differences in some factors or dimensions of hope,career self-efficacy,and career identity among undergraduate nursing students in terms of gender,grade,and whether they serve as student leaders.There were no significant differences in the dimensions of hope,career self-efficacy,and career identity among undergraduate nursing students in terms of family location,whether they had internships or part-time jobs,and whether they were only children.2.Undergraduate nursing students’ hope,career self-efficacy,and career identity are significantly positively correlated with their various dimensions;The level of hope among undergraduate nursing students will affect their level of professional identity;The level of professional self-efficacy of undergraduate nursing students will affect their level of professional identity.3.Professional self-efficacy plays a mediating role between the hope and professional identity of undergraduate nursing students.In addition to career self-efficacy itself,the five dimensions of this factor,namely career attitude and beliefs,problem-solving ability,ability to collect career information and plan,career cognition and career choice,also play a mediating role in the hope and career identity of undergraduate nursing students.4.Hope-Occupational Self Efficacy Group Psychological Counseling Intervention can effectively improve the level of hope,occupational self-efficacy,and occupational identity of undergraduate nursing students.In summary,professional self-efficacy plays a mediating role between the hope and professional identity of undergraduate nursing students and hope professional self-efficacy psychological group counseling has played a certain promoting role in the professional identity of nursing students.In the future,targeted interventions can be implemented to improve the professional identity level of nursing students. |
