Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis By Acupotomy

Objective:Based on the theory of " Ling Shu " and " Jiejie," the treatment of cervical spondylosis of neck type with transparent pressure needle knife was compared with that of neck massage to evaluate the clinical efficacy,in order to explore a simple,efficient and safe TCM diagnosis and treatment technology.Methods:In this study,80 patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type who were treated in our department from December 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups.The observation group was treated with osmotic acupuncture in the neck,once a week,four times as a course of treatment;the control group was treated with neck and shoulder massage,5 times/week,4 weeks/course of treatment.The relevant data of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were recorded,and the data were statistically analyzed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety.Results:1 Baseline comparison:There was no significant difference in baseline data(gender,age,VAS score before treatment,NDI scale score,symptom and sign table,neck temperature)between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Intra-group comparison:There were statistically significant differences in VAS score,NDI scale score,symptom and sign scale,and neck temperature between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the two methods have obvious curative effect cervical spondylosis.3 Comparison between groups:There were differences in VAS score,NDI scale score,symptom and sign table and neck temperature between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the clinical efficacy of the osmotic needle knife group and the massage group was different(P<0.05).4 Statistical analysis after follow-up:After 3 months of treatment,the VAS score and NDI scale score of the two groups were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the effect of osmotic acupotomy and massage on cervical spondylosis can be maintained for a period of time.After 3 months of treatment,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the effect of osmotic needle knife was better than that of massage.Conclusion:Both osmotic acupuncture and massage can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type,but the effect of osmotic acupuncture on cervical spondylosis of neck type is better than that of massage,which can be popularized and applied as a new appropriate technology of traditional Chinese medicine.
