Research On The Construction Of Public Health Ethics In Contemporary China

Public health ethics,as an emerging branch of applied ethics research in China,is a reflection and critique of responsibility ethics in public health practice.At present,the frequent outbreak of public health crises worldwide seriously threatens social security and population health.Society needs corresponding ethical and moral norms to promote the realization of public health,which highlights the importance of public health ethics research.Public health ethics regards achieving public good as its value goal,emphasizing that every individual in social life has the responsibility and obligation to maintain public health and achieve the overall interests of society.This article is based on the background of the era of building a healthy China,and revolves around the theme of constructing public health ethics in contemporary China.Based on the implementation of the Healthy China strat and the theory of socialist moral construction,this article summarizes the origins of public health ethics in China and the West,as well as the theoretical and practical foundations of public health ethics,Through the "SARS" and "COVID-19" two sudden public health crisis events,this paper examines the practical dilemma of the construction of contemporary China’s public health ethics and conducts ethical reflection,analyzes and summarizes the principles and norms that should be followed in the construction of contemporary China’s public health ethics,clarifies the ethical responsibilities that each subject should bear in the construction of public health ethics,and finally summarizes and refines the path of China’s public health ethics practice.In the research process of this article,it was found that there are certain practical difficulties in the construction of public health ethics in contemporary China at the level of civic awareness,theoretical construction,institutional construction,social organization service level,enterprise and media level.There is a need to improve public health ethics awareness,insufficient deepening of public health ethics theory,incomplete construction of public health institutional ethics,and low service level of social organizations,Issues such as prominent corporate ethical behavior and increasing media profit seeking behavior.This leads to ethical reflection on the construction of public health ethics from three aspects:personal freedom and public good choices,the realization of health fairness,and the manifestation of responsibility consciousness.It also attempts to propose public health ethics norms and the ethical responsibilities that each health subject should bear in the process of building public health ethics.Finally,by improving the institutional construction of public health ethics,promoting public health ethics education Strengthen the self-discipline of public health ethics,clarify China’s responsibility for global public health ethics,and strengthen regional collaboration in health to practice public health ethics.The research significance of this study lies in enriching the research in the field of public health ethics in China and providing theoretical support for the construction and development of a healthy China in China.At the same time,provide policy consultation and theoretical guidance for the construction and construction of public health ethics in China,and propose corresponding ethical countermeasures for the implementation of China’s Healthy China strategy and the achievement of the national health goals.
