ObjectiveThrough the comparison between cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point and routine acupuncture in the treatment of diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome with yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, observed the clinical efficacy and safety of cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point, and the positive effect for functional gastrointestinal diseases by cross moxibustion unite catgut embedding at Beishu point was explored.MethodsSixty-four patients with IBS-D deficiency of spleen and kidney were collected and randomly divided into observation group(cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding therapy at back Shu point)and control group(routine acupuncture therapy),with 32 cases in both groups.By comparing the TCM syndrome score,BSFS distribution,IBS-SSS score, safety and follow-up between the two groups before and after treatment, the therapeutic effect of cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome with spleen-kidney yang deficiency was evaluated.Results1.After treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased(P<0.01),and the scores of TCM syndromes in the cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at back Shu point decreased more obviously, with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the scores of TCM single syndrome in the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.01),while the scores of abdominal pain, abdominal cold pain, anorexia and cold limbs in the cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with those in the conventional acupuncture treatment group(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the total score of IBS-SSS:After treatment, the total score of IBS-SSS in the two groups decreased(P<0.01),but the total score of IBS-SSS in the treatment group of cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point decreased more obviously, with statistical significance(P<0.01).4.Comparison of IBS-SSS scores:after treatment, the scores of the cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point and the routine acupuncture group decreased(P<0.01).The scores of abdominal pain, abdominal pain frequency, defecation satisfaction and life influence in the cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point were much lower than those in the routine acupuncture treatment group(P<0.01),and there was no statistical significance in the symptom score of abdominal distension between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Comparison of BSFS distribution:After treatment, there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).6.Clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point was 93.33%,and that of routine acupuncture was 69.97%,with statistical significance.(P<0.05)7.Safety comparison:No adverse reactions occurred during the treatment of the two groups.8.Follow-up:There was a statistical difference between the two groups in the number of recurrence.(P<0.05).ConclusionAbout the treatment of diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome with spleen-kidney yang deficiency,Cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point and conventional acupuncture are all effective, but cross moxibustion combined with catgut embedding at Beishu point is better in improving the clinical symptoms of patients, reducing the degree of disease course and reducing the recurrence rate, which has more clinical significance for treatment of IBS-D with spleen-kidney yang deficiency. |
