Construction And Empirical Study Of Post Competency Model For Rehabilitation Therapists Based On RCF

ObjectiveBased on the competency theory,combined with the Rehabilitation Competency Framework(RCF),the post competency model of rehabilitation therapists is constructed,and the model is applied to conduct empirical research on the post competency of rehabilitation therapists,explore the current situation of the post competency level of rehabilitation therapists,and provide a certain reference for the training,selection,assessment and evaluation of rehabilitation therapy talents in medical institutions or colleges at all levels.MethodThrough the literature research method,the elements related to the post competency of rehabilitation therapists at home and abroad were screened,and the post competency model of rehabilitation therapists was tentatively constructed by combining RCF.Model optimization using Delphi expert consulting method;Use analytic hierarchy to identify metric weights.Taking the established rehabilitation therapist post competency model as a measurement tool,the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the current situation of post competency of rehabilitation therapists in hospitals at all levels in Liao Ning Province,and the factor analysis method was used to statistically analyze the recovered data.OutcomeThe post competency model of rehabilitation therapists constructed in this study includes 5 core dimensions and 40 sub-dimensions.The values of expert Kendall coordination coefficients in the two rounds of expert consultation were0.227 and 0.255(p<0.01),and the coordination coefficient of the second round was higher than that of the first round,indicating that the expert opinions were coordinated and the evaluation results were desirable.The analytic hierarchy method was used to calculate the index weight,and the CR of each index was<0.100,so the matrix met the requirements of consistency test.The questionnaire collected 276 valid questionnaires.Using the Cronbach’sαto test the reliability of the questionnaire,the Cronbach’sαfor the overall index was0.980,and the remaining five dimensions of Cronbach’sαcoefficients were(0.946,0.939,0.942,0.873,0.899).All were greater than 0.8,indicating that the overall reliability of the questionnaire was good.the exploratory factor analysis is used to limit the extraction of 5 factors,and the cumulative variance contribution rate is 71.274%,which is considered to be reasonable for the interpretation of the original data by the model.The model validity was tested by confirmatory factor analysis,and the mean variance variation of each latent variable(AVE)was greater than 0.5,and the reliability of each combination(CR)was greater than 0.7,indicating that the model validity was good.After model correction,except for the goodness-of-fit index(GFI,0.697),the other comparative fitting index(CFI,0.866),labeled fitting index(NFI,0.810),simple goodness-of-fit index(PGFI,0.550),parsimony normed fit index(PNFI,0.692),x~2/df(2.924),and the RMSEA(0.084)of the approximate error were all evaluated,and the fitting effect was acceptable.ConclusionThe post competency model of rehabilitation therapists constructed based on RCF is scientific and reliable,which can provide assistance for the standardized training,selection and post ability evaluation of rehabilitation treatment talents in medical and health institutions in China,and to a certain extent,it can also provide a certain reference for the practical ability training of rehabilitation therapy undergraduate education.
