Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Conservative management of traditional Chinese medicine and Adenoid in the treatment of children snoring caused by Adenoid hypertrophy(lung spleen deficiency type),and to explore the clinical effect and application value of Conservative management of traditional Chinese medicine in children snoring caused by Adenoid hypertrophy(lung spleen deficiency type)under the condition of meeting the standard of Adenoid resection.Methods:80 children with snoring caused by Adenoid hypertrophy(deficiency of lung and spleen qi)who met the criteria of Adenoid were divided into mild, moderate and severe according to OSA-18 score, and were divided into treatment group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The treatment group took Liu Jun Xiao Luo Tang with modifications, one dose per day,for one month of treatment; The children in the control group were treated with Adenoid low-temperature plasma ablation under nasal endoscope. The PSG,OSA-18 scale, scores of children’ s snoring symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine, and the size of Adenoid were recorded before treatment and one month after treatment in both groups;Visit and record OSA-18 scale 6 months after treatment, and record the incidence of colds, rhinosinusitis, cough and other diseases of the two groups of children within 6 months after treatment for statistical analysis.Result:1.PSG:Intragroup comparison showed that at 1 month after treatment,LSaO2 in both groups increased compared to before treatment, while AHI in both groups decreased, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).Inter group comparison showed that in mild children, there was no statistically significant difference in the improvement of LSaO2 and AHI between the treatment group and the control group at 1 month after treatment(P>0.05);In moderate to severe pediatric patients, the improvement of LSaO2 and AHI in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group at 1 month after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Specific Quality of Life Assessment Score(OSA-18 Scale):Intragroup comparison showed that at 1 month after treatment, the OSA-18 scores of both groups of children decreased compared to before treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).Inter group comparison showed that in mild children, there was no statistically significant difference in the decrease in total OSA-18 scores between the treatment group and the control group at 1 month after treatment(P>0.05);In moderate to severe children, the decrease in total OSA-18 scores in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group at 1 month after treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).3.Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Score for Children with Snoring Syndrome:Intragroup comparison showed that at 1 month after treatment,in mild, moderate, and severe children, the total score of both groups decreased compared to before treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.01).The comparison between groups showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the degree of decrease in traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores between the treatment group and the control group at 1 month after treatment in mild children(P>0.05);In moderate to severe children, the decrease in total score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group at 1 month after treatment, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).4.Adenoid:At one month after treatment, the change rate of Adenoid volume fraction in the treatment group was 91.67%,68.75%and 41.67%respectively in mild, moderate and severe children, which was lower than that in the control group(100%,100%and 100%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Comprehensive efficacy:At one month after treatment, the total effective rates of the two groups in mild children were 91.67%and 92.31%,respectively,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);In moderate to severe pediatric patients, the total effective rates in the treatment group were 87.50%and 75.00%,respectively,lower than 93.33%and 100%in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).6.Followup:The incidence of colds, rhinosinusitis and cough in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group within 6 months after treatment(P<0.05),At 6 months after treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the total score of the OSA-18 scale between the control group and the treatment group compared to 1 month after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:For children snoring caused by Adenoid hypertrophy(lung spleen deficiency type),in mild children, the total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine is not less than that of surgery;Surgical treatment is superior to traditional Chinese medicine treatment in improving snoring symptoms in moderate to severe children. For children with mild snoring caused by Adenoid hypertrophy(deficiency of lung and spleen qi),it is recommended to give priority to Conservative management of traditional Chinese medicine; For moderate and severe snoring children with relatively severe symptoms(deficiency of lung and spleen),surgery is recommended to alleviate the symptoms of snoring in chi ldren when Conservative management is ineffective.
