Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Liver And Kidney Deficiency Type)

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Jianguling Formula on knee osteoarthritis(KOA)patients with deficiency of liver and kidney.Methods: By comparing the therapeutic effects of combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine with simple Western medicine treatment,this study aims to explore the clinical advantages of Jianguling Formula in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with liver and kidney deficiency,providing diagnostic and therapeutic references for traditional Chinese medicine.In terms of research,70 patients who visited the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December2022 and met the inclusion criteria for the experiment were selected.Using a randomized grouping method,the included patients were randomly divided into a control group(basic treatment+celecoxib capsules)and an experimental group(combined with Jianguling formula on the basis of the control group),with 35 cases in each group.Summarize the general basic information of the included patients(name,gender,age,BMI,etc.),and evaluate the degree of knee joint pain and knee joint movement limitation of the patients through scale scores(VAS score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score).During the trial period,there were no cases of detachment,and the two groups had a treatment period of at least 4 weeks.VAS pain score,WOMAC osteoarthritis score,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score were used to monitor before treatment,1 week after diagnosis,2 weeks after diagnosis,and 4 weeks after diagnosis.Use SPSS26.0 statistical software to analyze the various indicators monitored before and after treatment in two groups of patients,and evaluate the efficacy based on the statistical analysis results.Results: There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the general information,VAS pain score,WOMAC osteoarthritis score,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score between the two groups of patients before treatment,indicating comparability.After 1 week,2 weeks,and 4 weeks of treatment,patients were followed up.The VAS pain score,WOMAC osteoarthritis score,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of the two groups of patients decreased compared to before treatment,and the decrease in indicators in the experimental group was more significant compared to the control group,with significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that the pain,stiffness,and The recovery of physical function and systemic symptoms of liver and kidney deficiency syndrome was better than that of the control group.Among the 35 patients in the experimental group,2 were clinically cured(6%),20 were significantly improved(57%),10 were effective(29%),and 3 were ineffective(8%),with a total effective rate of 92%;Among the 35 patients in the control group,6 were significantly effective(17%),23 were effective(66%),and 6 were ineffective(17%),with a total effective rate of 83%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).This indicates that the combined treatment in the experimental group has a better therapeutic effect than the control group.Conclusion: The combination of Jian Gu Ling Fang and Western medicine has a better therapeutic effect than simple Western medicine and higher safety,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
