Objective:Investigate the changes of quality of life and mental health in patients with cervical cancer in different periods after surgery, and mainly analyze the factors affecting quality of life.Methods:156 patients with cervical cancer who received surgical treatment at the Dalian Women and Children’s Medical Center(Group)from September 2020 to January2022 were selected as the study subjects. The clinical data of the patients were collected and measured with the Quality of Life Questionnaire‐C30(QLQ‐C30)The generalized anxiety disorder scale(GAD-7)and the patient health questionnaire depression symptom group scale(PHQ-9)investigated the score of life quality, social support score and mental health status of patients before and within 3 months after operation,3-6 months after operation,6-9 months after operation and 9-12 months after operation, and analyzed their influencing factors. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and repeated measurement test.Results:1.Postoperative quality of life: A total of 144 patients were included in the study, with an average age of 54.27 years. The quality of patients’ life after surgery decreased significantly, with the most serious within 3 months after surgery.According to the QLQ-C30 scoring standard, the overall quality of life score within 3months after surgery was 40.80±11.6,body function 53.61±8.22,role function34.26±17.82,emotional function 43.98±11.17,cognitive function 34.61±17.74,social function 35.76±17.62.After 3-6 months and 6-9 months of operation, the scores of various functional areas gradually increased, and gradually recovered to close to the preoperative level after 9-12 months of operation. After 9-12 months of operation, the overall quality of life score was 88.72±10.0,body function 82.4±14.3,role function 87.39±15.5,emotional function 75±11.58,cognitive function 71.20±10.23,and social function 86.53±8.36.There were statistically significant differences in various areas of quality of life in different time periods after operation(P<0.001).2.The results showed that the quality of life and age(F=7.99,P<0.001),education level(F=23.89,P<0.001)Individual annual income(F=16.1,P<0.001),disease stage(F=8.41,P<0.001),operation mode(F=16.54,P<0.001)and treatment mode(F=14.71,P < 0.001)were related, and the difference was statistically significant. The quality of life of patients aged over 60 years after surgery decreased most significantly and the recovery was the worst; The quality of life of patients with low education level and annual income less than 50000 yuan decreased significantly and recovered slowly.3.Evaluation of postoperative mental health status: Among the 144 patients,43cases(29.86%)showed different degrees of depression symptoms in 3 months after surgery,PHQ-9 scale score 7.84±2.27,among which 34 cases(23.61%)had mild depression, score 6.85±0.97,and 8 cases(5.56%)had moderate depression, score 11±1.12.One patient(0.69%)had severe depression, and the score was 16;29 patients(20.14%)had anxiety symptoms of different degrees, and the score of GAD-7 scale was 7.03± 1.80,among which 25 patients(17.36%)had mild anxiety(6.44±1.02),and 4 patients(2.78%)had moderate anxiety(10.75±0.83).Six to nine months after surgery, the mental health status of the patients was improved compared with that before.A total of 15 patients(10.42%)had anxiety symptoms, all of which were mild, and the PHQ-9 scale score was 2.97±1.67;7 patients(4.86%)had depression symptoms, all of which were mild, and the GAD-7 scale score was 1.20±1.81.Six to nine months after surgery, there were no patients with anxiety, and two patients had mild depressive symptoms, but they also returned to normal nine months after surgery.4.The effect of depression on quality of life within 3 months and 3-6 months after surgery was statistically significant(P<0.001,P<0.001),and the effect of anxiety on quality of life was also statistically significant(P<0.001,P=0.013).Conclusions:The quality of life of patients with cervical cancer decreased significantly after treatment. With the passage of time, the quality of life gradually improved, stabilized in 9-12 months after surgery, and returned to the preoperative level.Patients’ age, personal annual income, education level, disease stage, surgical method, and postoperative adjuvant treatment are the influencing factors of patients’ quality of life; Some patients had depression and anxiety in different degrees after treatment, and gradually improved and returned to normal with the prolongation of postoperative time;Postoperative anxiety and depression are also important factors affecting the quality of life.
