ObjectiveTo investigate the disease uncertainty level and its influencing factors ofcervical cancer in hospital, Clarify correlation between quality of life and diseaseuncertainty level of cervical cancer hospitalized patients, in order to improve thequality of life of cervical cancer inpatients.MothedUse Cervical cancer inpatients general questionnaire, Wan Chonghua qualityof life questionnaire, the Chinese version Mishel disease uncertainty Scale (MUIS) toinvestigate327cases of cervical cancer hospitalized in Department of gynecology ofThree level of first-class hospital in Henan Province. Using statistical softwareSPSS17.0statistical analysis of the data, statistical methods include: analysis ofvariance, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1. The level of uncertainty disease of cervical cancer hospitalized patients A sense of uncertainty score (75.2±12.9) points, the the ambiguity dimensionscores (38.8±6.6), the complexity dimension scores (36.3±6.9); use Mishel criteriato determine the level of uncertainty in illness,81.04%in the proportion of higherlevel, Uncertainty of illness in patients with ambiguity dimension and complexitydimensions are different (P <0.05)2. Influencing factors of Cervical cancer inpatients uncertainty in illnessDifferent ages, different professions, marital status, different family income andfamily burden of cervical cancer inpatients Uncertainty in Illness total score andscores differences were statistically significant (P <0.05);40-year old group ofdiseases uncertainty the highest score,70-year-old group was the lowest;self-entrepreneurs disease uncertain sense of each dimension score higher than avariety of other occupations (P <0.05); Divorce score for each dimension ofuncertainty in illness in patients than in patients with other kinds of marriage (P<0.05); Uncertainty of illness in patients without health insurance than healthinsurance patients (P <0.05); Monthly family income is lower, the patient’s uncertaintyin illness (P <0.05); Economic burden of the heavier patients, the uncertainty ofillness (P <0.05); Family harmony, in patients with various dimensions of uncertaintyin illness, a lower score (P <0.05); Multiple regression analysis showed: medicalinsurance, family relationships, family income, occupation, economic conditionsaffect the uncertainty of illness in patients with the most important factor.3. The quality of life of cervical cancer inpatientsThe average score (69.1±17.0), the highest score to additional attention (20.1±10.4), the lowest score of functional status (8.8±4.0), Physiological condition score(15.3±5.7), Social/family status (11.4±4.0), Emotional status (13.4±3.9).4. Impact on quality of life by uncertainty in illness of cervical cancer inpatientsDifferent levels of cervical cancer inpatients uncertainty in illness, differentquality of life of the patients; in addition to the social and family dimension, the highor low lever of disease uncertainty between cervical cancer inpatients, the differencesbetween patient’s life quality dimension scores and total score have statisticallysignificant (P <0.05); each dimension of life quality of cervical cancer hospitalized patients have a negative correlation with total score of uncertainty in illness andeach dimension scores (P <0.05); the higher disease uncertainty of cervical cancerinpatients, the lower score, the worse life quality (P <0.05).Conclusion1. cervical cancer inpatients disease uncertainty strong its poor quality of life.2. Cervical cancer inpatients age, occupation, family economic status, familyrelationships, marital status and the presence or absence of health insurance and otherfactors affect its uncertainty in illness.3. cervical cancer inpatients uncertainty in illness have a negative impact on theirquality of life, the higher the uncertainty in illness, lower the quality of life.
