Objective: To observe the clinical effect of conventional massage combined with Yi Can Scraping therapy in treating children with external cough.Methods: From January 2022 to December 2022,a total of 160 pediatric patients with cough due to external pathogen invasion who were treated at the pediatric outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the pediatric Tuina clinic of the International Zhuang Medicine Hospital affiliated with Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method,with 80 cases in each group.The control group was treated with massage therapy which was edited by Liao Pindong,published by the People’s Medical Publishing House of the national higher education "13th Five-Year Plan" textbook "children’s massage" in the "cough" disease of external cough massage treatment methods: The basic massage techniques included clearing the lung and calming the liver,massaging the BL13,suppressing the lung,massaging the ST12 acupoint,and using cough-inducing techniques on the coughing point(located 1 inch above the RN22 on the midline of the neck).For wind-cold cough,Wind-cold cough patients should strengthen the operation of the basic prescription of clearing lung,flattening liver and purifying lung,and add massaging the EX-EU8,LU7,GB20,and Jingjiaji acupoints.For wind-heat cough,the basic massage techniques were enhanced to clearing the lung and calming the liver and massaging the BL13 techniques,and clearing Tianheshui acupoint,clearing Tianzhugu acupoint,and massaging GB21.Observation group in control group on the basis of conventional massage therapy combined with Yi Can Scraping method.The operation part of the Yi Can Scraping is on the back and the front chest.Back: the left and right sides of the medial margin of the scapula and the left and right sides of the thoracic spine meridian,a total of 4 lines,like the Chinese character "介";Front chest: left and right sides of the lower clavicle margin line(the line from RN22 to LU2)and the line from RN22 to RN17 on Ren channel,a total of 3 lines,shaped like the Chinese character "个".Before applying the pot on the operating part of the hand evenly smear the right amount of Vaseline,the artist’s fingers gently pinch pressure tank body to discharge the tank air,and then the Yi Can adsorption on the operation site and walking pot method,resulting in skin flushing,blood stasis point,blood stasis spots or blood stasis clots,the specific number to the actual situation,do not have to force.The massage therapy used by the two groups were 1 times a day,and the observation group added the Yi Can scraping method for 1 times every other day;Both groups were treated for 7 days.The clinical efficacy and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were observed in the two groups,and the observation results were statistically analyzed.Results:(1)The number of actual entry result analysis cases: Among 80 cases in the observation group,75 cases were actually entry result analysis;In the control group of 80 cases,74 cases actually entered the result analysis.(2)Clinical efficacy results and comparison: In the 75 cases in the observation group,25 cases were cured,31 cases were effective,14 cases were effective,5 cases were ineffective;Among the 74 cases in the control group,15 cases were cured,23 cases were effective,20 cases were effective and 16 cases were ineffective.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant(Z=-3.027,P < 0.05),and the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(3)TCM syndrome score results and comparison: the main symptom score,secondary symptom score and total score of TCM syndrome in the two groups decreased after treatment compared with before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndrome in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of secondary symptoms after treatment between the groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Conventional massage combined with Yi Can Scraping therapy in the treatment of children with external cough is more significant than conventional massage,can effectively improve clinical symptoms,worthy of clinical application and promotion.
