Research purposes: Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)has posed a serious threat to national health and socioeconomic development.Exercise is the basic strategy of patient treatment.Based on the fusion of body medicine and high-intensity intermittent exercise(HIIT)intervention for 8 weeks in T2 DM patients, this study observed the effects of HIIT on blood glucose, blood lipid, body composition and pancreatic fat content of patients, aiming to provide theoretical and practical basis for exercise intervention in T2 DM patients. In addition, the relationship between intra-pancreatic fat and T2 DM has attracted increasing attention. This study analyzed the correlation between pancreatic fat content and blood glucose, blood lipid, body composition and morphological indicators,in order to explore the influencing factors of pancreatic fat content in patients with T2 DM and provide a theoretical basis for the control of pancreatic fat content in patients.Research methods: After recruitment screening,24 patients with T2 DM were included,12 cases in each group were divided into control group and training group.During the research,4 cases in the control group dropped out,and 1 case in the training group dropped out.Finally,8 cases in the control group and 11 cases in the training group were included in the study. Both groups received routine health education and regular follow-up,while the training group additionally received HIIT intervention(30–35 minutes per time,3 times per week, with a total of 8 weeks).Patients’ blood glucose and related indicators, blood lipid indicators were measured by blood biochemical tests before and after the intervention.Body composition indicators such as body weight were measured using the Inbody 270 body composition analyzer from South Korea.Morphological indicators such as waist circumference were measured using a tape measure.Pancreas fat fraction was measured using IDEAL-IQ technology of magnetic resonance imaging. The index changes before and after the intervention were compared and analyzed. In addition, before intervention, pancreatic fat scores in all patients were used as the dependent variable, and other indicators were used as the independent variable, for which person correlation analysis was performed.Research results: 1.The fat fraction of pancreas has significant positive correlation with BMI(r=0.524,P=0.021)and waist circumference(r=0.509,P=0.026).2.Blood glucose: After the intervention, the decreases of FPG,2h PG,Hb A1 c,Ins,and HOMA-IR values in patients of the training group were statistically different(P<0.05),while the decreases of FPG and 2h PG values in patients of the control group were only statistically different(P<0.05).At this time, the FPG of patients in the training group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Lipid profile: After intervention, the decreases of TC,TG,LDL-c and the increases of HDL-c in patients of the training group were statistically different(P<0.05),while there was no statistical difference in the changes of indicators in patients of the control group(P>0.05).At this time, the HDL-c level of patients in the training group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Body composition and body form: After intervention, the body weight,BMI,body fat ratio, waist circumference and hip circumference of patients in the training group were decreased in a systematic way for statistical difference(P<0.05),the waist-to-hip ratio and lean body weight were no statistical difference(P>0.05).while there was no statistical difference in the changes of patients in the control group(P>0.05).At this time, the waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio of patients in the training group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).5.Pancreatic fat content: After the intervention, there was a significant difference in the reduction of pancreatic fat score in patients of the training group(P<0.05),while the pancreatic fat score in the control group showed a trend of increase(P>0.05).Research conclusions:1.BMI and waist circumference may be risk factors for increased pancreatic fat content in patients with T2 DM.2.High-intensity intermittent exercise significantly improves the blood glucose and related indicators of T2 DM patients and stabilizes blood glucose control.3.High-intensity intermittent exercise significantly improves the blood lipid indicators of patients with T2 DM.4.High-intensity intermittent exercise significantly improves the body composition and morphological indicators of T2 DM patients and improves the obesity status.5.High-intensity intermittent exercise significantly reduces pancreatic fat content and improves insulin resistance in patients with T2 DM.
