With the rapid growth of the number of children with autism,society is increasingly concerned about the problems of children with autism.Research has shown that children with autism can achieve good recovery through timely and scientific intervention.In the rehabilitation process of children with autism,sensory integration theory is the core theoretical support for rehabilitation intervention for children with autism,and picture book reading is an essential means of rehabilitation.At present,there are very few children’s picture books on the market that truly fit their physical and mental characteristics from the perspective of children with autism.This project starts from the perspective of sensory integration theory and integrates sensory integration training into children’s picture books to study the design of rehabilitation picture books for children with autism.Firstly,analyze and summarize the theory of sensory integration and children with autism,summarize and summarize the role of sensory integration and the physiological,cognitive,emotional,and behavioral characteristics of children with autism under the theory of sensory integration,and elaborate on the effective application of sensory integration theory to children with autism.At the same time,analyze the current situation and needs of rehabilitation picture books for children with autism,analyze the correlation between rehabilitation picture books for children with autism and sensory integration theory,explain the importance of introducing sensory integration theory into rehabilitation picture books for children with autism,and start from the behavioral mode of sensory integration,describe the role and implementation path of sensory integration in rehabilitation picture books for children with autism,Provide feasible and effective theoretical support for the integration of sensory integration theory and rehabilitation picture books for children with autism.Secondly,based on the analysis of sensory integration theory,autistic children,and rehabilitation picture books for autistic children,the design strategy of rehabilitation picture books for autistic children under sensory integration theory is studied.It is pointed out that it can promote the development of fine movements,improve hand eye coordination ability,cultivate sensory perception ability,cultivate attention and logical thinking,and enhance the sustainable use of picture books Adding a reading observation record table for autistic children that is suitable for picture books can help them achieve positive development in six aspects.At the same time,based on the characteristics of autistic children and the basic requirements of picture book design,the design principles for rehabilitation picture books for autistic children are formulated,and the material,format,visual expression,interaction,and other aspects of the picture book are designed and conceptualized.Finally,in practice,the research results of the topic are validated.Starting from the sensory integration theory,a rehabilitation picture book design for children with autism is designed based on their cognitive and psychological characteristics.The design emphasizes multi-sensory experiences,scientifically mobilizes the sensory system of children with autism,and helps them improve their cognitive and sensory abilities.At the same time,we strive to provide effective reference for rehabilitation interventions for children with autism through design practice.
