Objective:To measure the tibial torsion Angle and femoral torsion Angle on the full-length CT of both lower limbs,and to measure the mechanical medial proximal tibial Angle,mechanical lateral distal femoral Angle,and hip-knee-ankle Angle on the X-ray film.To analyze the correlation between the Angle measured by CT and X-ray film,and to explore the possibility of predicting the tibial femoral torsion Angle by X-ray film before operation.Methods:A total of 52 patients with osteoarthritis who underwent primary TKA in our department from January 2021 to December 2022 and retained CT and X-ray data of both lower extremities were included in this study.Patients with primary TKA caused by non-osteoarthritis,tumors around the knee joint,and a history of lower extremity fracture were excluded.The tibial torsion Angle and femoral torsion Angle were measured on the full-length CT of both lower limbs,and the mechanical medial proximal tibial Angle,mechanical lateral distal femoral Angle,and hip-knee-ankle Angle were measured on the X-ray films.spss software was used to analyze the correlation between the angles.Results:In the varus group,the medial femoral torsion and external tibial torsion increased with the decrease of m MPTA(P < 0.05).However,there was no significant relationship between internal femoral torsion,external tibial torsion and HKA or m LDFA.In the valgus group,it was observed that the internal femoral torsion and external tibial torsion decreased with the decrease of KHA Angle(P < 0.05),while no significant correlation was observed in other measurements.Conclusions:In the varus group,the internal femoral torsion and external tibial torsion increased with the decrease of m MPTA.However,there was no significant relationship between internal femoral torsion,external tibial torsion and HKA or m LDFA.In the valgus group,it was observed that the internal femoral torsion and external tibial torsion decreased with the decrease of KHA Angle(P < 0.05),while no significant correlation was observed in other measurements.Further correlation analysis and quantitative analysis between the correlations still need further studies with large samples.
