China is the country with the largest rural elderly population in the world, but also one of the countries with the highest population aging rate. The rate of aging is faster in rural areas than in cities. In 2030,the aging rate of population will reach the highest, the aging degree of population in rural areas and urban areas will reach29.14% and 21.91% respectively, the gap is also the largest, rural areas will enter the severe aging period earlier than urban areas. However,as China’s rural areas have not established a sound health and medical services and other infrastructure, with the acceleration of population aging,as well as rural backward infrastructure and imperfect social security system,China’s rural elderly health problems will be more prominent.Based on CHARLS database, this paper studies the health level and influencing factors of rural elderly in China. The aim is to provide feasible plans for the health management of the elderly in rural areas;Firstly, the data in the CHARLS database were captured to obtain the data set to be analyzed by myself. Then, manual screening was conducted to obtain 1374 valid data of the rural elderly aged 60 and above.Descriptive statistics were carried out on the data set.Eq-5d scale was used to evaluate the health level of the elderly in rural areas, and the corresponding scores were obtained.Anova and multiple stepwise regression were used to analyze the effects of different factors on health, and the health level and health influencing factors were obtained. On the whole, the health level of rural elderly with old age, widowed, female,no stable economic support, poor health in early life, poor psychological status, and no physical and social activities is generally poor, which is basically consistent with previous studies.Give corresponding suggestions: 1.Pay attention to healthy life expectancy and average life expectancy, and make a smooth transition.2.Pay attention to gender differences and the physical and mental development of the elderly.3.Change the traditional marriage concept and strengthen marriage and love education for the elderly in rural areas.4,pay attention to family support function, strengthen children’s material and spiritual support to the elderly.5.Pay attention to intergenerational support, carry out reasonable communication and care.6.Expand financing channels and encourage the purchase of commercial insurance.Relying on traditional culture, hold activities to respect and love the elderly.8.Focus on early life health and provide a balanced diet.
