| Objectives: To describe the current status of e Health literacy of the older adults,and to explore the main influencing factors of e Health literacy,in order to provide a research basis for designing e Health literacy intervention programs and improving e Health literacy of the older adults in the future.Methods:(1)From March to May 2021,this study selected Jinan City,Shandong Province as the research site,and adopted the multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method to select the older adults in the community as the research objects.The older adults were investigated with the self-compiled general situation questionnaire,e Health literacy scale,health literacy self-perception scale,internet use support questionnaire,internet information support scale,electronic equipment usage proficiency questionnaire,and internet use status questionnaire.(2)The sociodemographic characteristics,health literacy,health status,social support,internet use,and e Health literacy were described as mean standard deviation,quartile,frequency(constituent ratio).The binary multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of e Health literacy among the older adults.Mplus8.0 software was used to analyze the path of influencing factors of e Health literacy in the older adults.Results:(1)A total of 2144 older adults were investigated in this study,with a mean age of 72.01 6.96 years old.There were 1075(50.1%)males,and 61.3% were from rural areas.(2)The mean score of the e Health literacy of older adults was17.56 9.61 points,and the adequate rate of e Health literacy was 11.9%(95%CI:10.6%-13.3%);male was 13.5%(95%CI: 11.5%-15.6%),female was 10.3%(95%CI: 8.6%-12.2%);urban older adults was 19.2%(95%CI:16.6%-22.0%),rural older adults was 7.3%(95%CI: 6.0%-8.8%).(3)The multivariate logistic regression results showed that no chronic diseases(OR=1.579,95%CI: 1.069-2.332),high social support(OR=2.014,95%CI: 1.356-2.990),adequate health literacy(OR=5.199,95%CI: 3.547-7.621),internet use support(OR=1.031,95%CI: 1.001-1.061),internet information support(OR=1.045,95%CI: 1.017-1.074),electronic equipment usage proficiency(OR=1.127,95%CI: 1.092-1.164)were the main influencing factor for the adequate e Health literacy of older adults.(4)Path analysis showed that the total effect of chronic disease status on e Health literacy was 0.191(P<0.05),and the direct effect was 0.083(P<0.05).Social support,health literacy,internet information support and electronic equipment usage proficiency played partial mediating roles in the association between chronic disease status and e Health literacy in the older adults,with a total mediating effect of 0.108(95%CI=0.071-0.145),accounting for 56.5% of the total effect.Conclusions:(1)The adequate rate of e Health literacy of older adults was 11.9%.(2)The chronic disease status,social support,health literacy,internet use support,internet information support and electronic equipment usage proficiency were the main influencing factors of e Health literacy of older adults.(3)Social support,health literacy,internet information support and electronic equipment usage proficiency mediated the association between chronic disease status and e Health literacy in the older adults. |
