Analysis On The Results Of Standardized Training Of Residents In Hainan Province

Objective: Through the evaluation of the pass rates of resident′s graduation examination in Hainan province from 2018 to 2020,it provides a reference for the next step to improve the quality of standardized resident training in Hainan province.Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of the graduation examination results of residents in Hainan province from 2018 to 2020.Statistical analysis were performed using frequency(percentage)to describe the demographic characteristics of the subjects.Chi-square test and Fisher exact test were used to compare the pass rates.Results: 1.A total of 1581 resident′s Standardized Training of Resident graduation examination results from 2018 to 2020 were collected,the overall pass rate in three years gradually increased from 85% to 90.4%.2.In the graduation examination,the overall pass rate of each clinical skills station is great(>95%),and the overall passing rate of professional theory examination is lower than that of clinical skills examination.3.The overall pass rate and the pass rate of professional theory and clinical skill examination of professional merged graduate students were significantly higher than generally-recruited residents(P<0.05).4.The overall pass rate and clinical skills examination pass rate of residents in Haikou are higher than those in Sanya(P<0.05).Hainan General Hospital has the highest overall pass rate.5.The overall pass rate of dermatology and pediatrics students is low.Conclusion: The first pass rate of graduate examination is gradually increasing in Hainan province from 2018 to 2020.However,there is unbalanced development among identity,areas,bases and disciplines.It is necessary to further improve and optimize the training system of residents training in Hainan province.
