Objective:To investigate the influencing factors related to the recovery of urinary continence after Robot-assisted Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, and provide guidance for the recovery of clinical urinary incontinence, and help to improve the quality of life of patients.Research Methods: In this study, age, prostate volume, membranous urethral length,Gleason score, tumor T stage, highest TPSA before surgery, whether lymph node dissection was performed, whether there was a history of TURP surgery and postoperative margin incision were collected, and the recovery and severity of urinary continence in 1,3,6 and 12 months after surgery were followed up,and logistics regression was used to analyze the factors affecting urinary continence and the risk rates were calculated. Results: The urinary continence rate in this study was 44.7%(89/199)in the 1 month after surgery,67.8%(135/199)in the 3 months after surgery,80.9%(161/199)in 6 months, and 96.0%(191/199)in 12 months after surgery.Logistic regression analysis showed that advanced age and increased prostate volume were risk factors for urinary incontinence in 1,3,6 and 12 months after surgery, while membranous urethral length ≥ 14 mm were protective factors for urinary incontinence in 1,3,6 and 12 months after surgery.A history of previous TURP surgery significantly increased the incidence of urinary incontinence in 1 month after surgery. There was no significant effect on the recovery rate of urinary continence after operation. All factors did not affect the recovery of urinary continence in 12 months after surgery. Conclusion: The urinary continence after RALP is related to time, and the vast majority of patients can obtain better urinary continence recovery within 1 year.Age ≤60 years, prostate volume≤30 cm3,and membranous urethral length≥14 can significantly improve the rate of early postoperative urinary continence, but they are not beneficial for long-term urinary continence.
