The Interactive Effects Of The Sense Of Coherence And Social Support On The Quality Of Life Of Children With Chronic Kidney Disease And Their Caregivers

Objective:To investigate the status quo of sense of coherence,social support and quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers.To analyze the factors affecting the quality of life of children and caregivers with chronic kidney disease;Based on the actor-partner interdependence mode,constructing a dual interaction model of sense of coherence,social support and quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease and their caregivers,so as to provide empirical evidence for formulating intervention strategies at the dual level to improve the quality of life of children and caregivers.Methods:A cross-sectional study design was adopted to conveniently select 284 pairs of children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers in the Department of Pediatrics and Nephrology in two Grade A hospitals in Baise City from July 2021 to December 2022 as subjects.General data questionnaire,sense of coherence scale,perceptive social support scale,the pediatric quality of life inventory ^TMfamily impact model and Chinese version of pediatric quality of life inventory measurement models were used to investigate.SPSS 26.0 and Amos 23.0 software were used for statistical analysis,multiple linear stepwise regression was used to explore the factors affecting the quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers,and Amos23.0 was used to construct the dual interaction model of sense of coherence,social support and quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers.Results:（1）The mean scores of the sense of coherence,social support and quality of life in children of with chronic kidney disease were（55.65±4.98）points、（51.69±6.31）points and（74.50±13.08）points;The mean scores of the sense of coherence,social support and quality of life in caregivers were（61.03±10.95）points、（55.31±6.47）points and（73.51±10.01）points.（2）Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease in age,education level,whether they were the only child,treatment methods,and course of disease（P<0.05）;There were significant differences in the quality of life of caregivers in terms of education level and family monthly income（P<0.05）.（3）Pearson correlation analysis results show that children with chronic kidney disease and psychological alignment between caregivers,social support and quality of life were significantly related to（r=0.210～0.863,P<0.01）.（4）Multiple progressive linear regression analysis showed that education,disease course,treatment,sense of coherence and social support had significant effects on the quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease（P<0.05）;Family per capita income,sense of coherence and social support had significant effects on the quality of life of caregivers（P<0.05）.（5）The subjective and object model showed that sense of coherence and social support had significant subjective and object effects on the quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease and their caregivers（P<0.001）.Conclusion:（1）Children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers had a low level of sense of coherence,and both of them received a moderate degree of social support,and their quality of life was at a medium-low level.（2）The quality of life of children with chronic kidney disease was affected by education level,disease course,treatment,sense of coherence and social support.The family monthly income,sense of coherence and social support were the factors influencing the quality of life of caregivers.（3）Children with chronic kidney disease and caregivers’sense of coherence and social support can significantly affect their own life and that of the other.
