Clinical Observation Of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction In Treating Phlegm Turbidity-Upper Mongolian Syndrome Of Vestibular Migraine

Objective:In this study,Bazhen Decoction was used to treat post-circulation ischemic vertigo(PCIV)of Qi and blood deficiency type.Vertigo-related scale scores,TCM syndrome scores and related blood,blood flow and vascular indexes were recorded and analyzed,so as to clarify the clinical efficacy of Bazhen Decoction and provide a new strategy for the treatment of PCIV.Methods:A total of 80 patients with PCIV(qi and blood deficiency)admitted to Hospitalized in the encephalopathy Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Anhui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group and treatment group with 40 patients in each group.The control group was given flunarizine hydrochloride capsule orally,and the treatment group was given Bazhen Decoction on the basis of the control group,for a course of 2 weeks.The total effective rate,TCM syndrome score,vertigo disorder score(DHI),vertigo Rating Scale score(DARS),vertebral artery and basilar artery average flow velocity(Vm)and vascular pulse index(PI),plasma viscosity,whole blood high tangential viscosity and whole blood low tangential viscosity of the two groups were observed and recorded before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment.Statistical software(spss23.0)was used to process the collected data for analysis and research.Results :(1)The basic information(gender,age,course of disease,risk factors)and all the observed indicators before treatment were comparable between the two groups(P >0.05).(2)Clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the treatment group(91.7%)was higher than that of the control group(78.8%)(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group;(3)TCM syndrome score: all symptom scores and total scores of 2 groups were decreased after treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group,there were no statistically significant differences in sleep,insomnia and palpitation(P>0.05),and the scores of other syndromes and total scores in the treatment group were significantly improved(P<0.05).(4)DHI score and DARS score: DHI score and DARS score were decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05);The treatment group was significantly improved compared with the control group(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of TCD index: The average flow velocity and vascular pulsation index of vertebral artery and basilar artery in 2 groups were improved after treatment(P<0.05);The treatment group was significantly improved compared with the control group(P<0.05).(6)Hemorheology comparison: After treatment,all indexes of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05);Conclusions:1.Bazhen Decoction can significantly improve the clinical total effective rate of PCIV(Qi and blood deficiency type)patients;2.Bazhen Decoction can reduce the scores and total scores of various TCM symptoms of patients,and effectively improve the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of patients,such as fatigue,pale appearance,poor appetite and less food.3.Bazhen Decoction can reduce DHI score and DARS score of patients,and significantly improve vertigo symptoms of patients.4.Bazhen Decoction can also improve the vertebrobasilar artery blood flow velocity and vascular pulsation index of patients,reduce the hemorheology index of patients,increase the blood supply to the posterior circulatory system,and improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
